After landing in Marrakech, everything slows down. The sun paints the city in warm tones, the air smells of dust, spices, and faraway places. Your journey begins now, along with days full of flavors, sounds, and colors. After settling in and a short rest, if you have the energy, you can set out to get your first feel for the city. Just a few steps and you'll find yourself in the heart of the medina, where life moves at its own pace. Have a glass of mint tea on a rooftop terrace with a view, sit at a table with a water pipe, or enjoy a portion of authentic Moroccan couscous.
Day 2
Today, Marrakesh will draw you into its heart. The narrow alleyways of the medina come alive early in the morning, with the scents of fresh bread, citrus fruits, and exotic spices. Every step is a new discovery; potters, carvers, spice and silver merchants offer a glimpse into a life that changes only slowly. You will wander through the markets where the colours of the fabrics and the loud haggling create a unique atmosphere. From the bustle of the city, you will then enter a world of peace and beauty; in the shade of palm and orange trees, royal palaces and gardens like those from a fairy tale from One Thousand and One Nights will welcome you.

You'll leave the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and head towards the Atlas Mountains, where the landscape, colours and pace change. The road winds between mountain peaks, valleys and small villages that seem to resist the passage of time. The first views near Zekten offer breathtaking panoramas, and further east in Telouet you'll see forgotten fortresses and centuries-old traditions. Every kilometre brings you closer to the desert, but before you reach its threshold, you'll stop at the famous Aït Ben Haddou, an iconic UNESCO World Heritage site where the clay walls whisper stories of ancient caravans and film legends.
