If you still have some energy after your journey, take a short walk to the Bridge Between Continents, a symbolic place where two continents meet. You'll be surrounded by black volcanic landscape, the cool ocean, and a special kind of quiet that will tell you you're truly in an exceptional place. You can end the evening at the cozy Fernandos restaurant in Keflavík, where you'll find a harmonious blend of Icelandic ingredients with southern charm. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and the first well-deserved rest after a day full of new impressions – that's how a truly great journey begins.

Today, you'll step into a land where the world is being created. You'll begin in the lava fields near Fagradalsfjall volcano, where the earth recently opened and the fiery power of nature flowed forth. The black landscape, full of smoke and silence, will engulf you, as if you were on another planet. From there, you'll continue to the hissing underworld of Krýsuvík, where mud bubbles, steam rises, and the earth's colors glow in yellow, red, and green. The morning begins with a walk along the cliffs in Arnarstapi, where the wild coast meets legends and the famous Gatklettur rock arch creates an otherworldly scene. Along the way, you'll stop at the lesser-known, but all the more impressive, Svöðufoss waterfall, where water cascades from a basalt cliff amidst green hills, and a tranquility rare in Iceland reigns. Then you'll head to the Búðakirkja church, a black silhouette standing alone in the endless landscape – minimalist beauty that embodies the whole island. You'll end the day at the mighty Grundarfoss waterfall, which opens up to you after a short walk through a green valley. The falling water from a height of 70 meters, in the quiet surroundings of mountains and pastures, will offer an unforgettable end to the day.
