Today you'll travel to one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Latin America – Antigua Guatemala. A city where time stands still amidst Baroque ruins, cobblestone streets, and the silhouettes of volcanoes in the background. You'll walk through places where history breathes from every stone, breathe in the aroma of coffee from local cafes, and maybe even encounter the ghost of the legendary La Tatuana, who is said to still wander these streets. Antigua is a city you don't discover with a guide, but at your own pace – just look, feel, and let yourself be drawn into its atmosphere.
Day 3

From Antigua, you'll set off at dawn to the mountain village of La Soledad, from where the full-day ascent begins through four diverse microclimates – from agricultural fields to tropical cloud forests to windy volcanic slopes. Along the way, you'll enjoy a delicious picnic, take in breathtaking views of the surrounding volcanoes, and at the summit, you'll be treated to a 360° panorama with a close-up view of the constantly active Fuego volcano. After a rest, a three-hour descent back to La Soledad follows, and an afternoon return to Antigua.
