After arrival, pick up your car at the airport (following the instructions you'll receive before departure) and if you have the time and desire, you can make a quick stop to test out the sea between Durres and Golem. The further south you go on this trip, the more beautiful the beaches and clearer the water will be, but today's beach is worth a visit too. And you'll end the day in style at a luxury restaurant just a stone's throw from the sea...

Today is going to be a real tour de beach day - you'll check out some nice beaches, especially if you go outside of the high season (it won't be as crowded). 

First, you'll visit a beach not far from Kavajë - a vast, sandy, and very clean beach where you'll find shade under the trees, toilets, changing rooms, and a few restaurants, and then you'll slowly (the trip will be longer) move on to an iconic and famous beach, nestled in a canyon between cliffs, where you'll spend the night and recharge your energy for the hike.

After some well-deserved rest and beach relaxation, today you'll break a sweat - you'll spend some time in nature on one of the beautiful hikes Albania has to offer - the trek to Maja Cikes. It's a half-day hike, depending on your fitness level. If you're not feeling up for that, you can hike "only" to Maja Queres. From the top, you can see both the inland area and the entire coastline all the way to Corfu. Bring plenty of water - refreshments will be waiting down by the car.
