Arrival at Barcelona Airport. Pick up your rental car and head to your accommodation. Enjoy your first taste of Spain with a delicious dinner.
Get ready for an exciting day in Barcelona! Your first full day will take you to some of the city's most iconic and Instagram-worthy spots. You’ll kick things off with a visit to the jaw-dropping Sagrada Familia, the legendary basilica that’s been under construction for over a century and will absolutely blow your mind. Afterward, you’ll hit the vibrant Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña, and Passeig de Gràcia, where you'll be able to soak in the beauty of Gaudí’s masterpieces like Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (aka “La Pedrera”).
Today, you will visit one of the most iconic Cavas in Penedés region: Codorniú. Since 1976 it has been a Historic-Artistic Monument and one of the most impressive examples of architecture dedicated to the production and aging of cavas. Underground in a maze of subway cellars is where, for a century, the Codorníu cavas have been fermenting and aging at a constant temperature. In 1872, Josep Raventós Fatjó produced cava for the first time in Spain following the Traditional Method and using native Penedés grapes: Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada. Guided tour, tasting of 2 premium cavas and menu. After the tour, continue to Roses, one of the most beautiful bays in the world and the birthplace of El Bulli, one of the most influential restaurants in the history of gastronomy.
