Upon arrival in San José, you'll get your first taste of the Costa Rican atmosphere – specialty coffee in the trendy Barrio Escalante district and a stroll down the city's busiest street, Avenida Central. A market full of aromas awaits you, along with street music, artists, and elegant historical buildings. You'll end your first day in La Sabana park as the sun sets over the city.
