Your adventure begins! Once you arrive at the airport, pick up your rental car (following the instructions you'll receive before the trip) and head to your accommodation. If you have time, take a stroll through the lovely seaside town of Keflavík or grab a traditional bite at one of the local restaurants. If you arrive late or are feeling tired, just head straight to your accommodation and start exploring Iceland tomorrow.

You'll stop at the National Park, drive to the famous Geysir, the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, and then enjoy a relaxing break in the Hrunalaug hot springs. Along the way, you can also stop at an interesting house in a cave or see how bread is traditionally baked in the ground.

The third day is dedicated to the most beautiful waterfalls in the south of Iceland. I recommend leaving early to have as few tourists as possible. You'll start at the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall, right next to it is my favorite and most mysterious waterfall, Gljufrabui, then you'll drive over and enjoy the fairytale atmosphere of Kvernufoss waterfall, walk through the historical museum with the original and well-preserved dwellings of Icelanders, hike up to the majestic Skógafoss waterfall, and end the day in the picturesque town of Vík, where you can buy products from Iceland.

On the fourth day, you will go to Iceland's most dangerous beach, Reynisfjara Beach, also known as Black Sand Beach, go to the beautiful Dyrhólaey viewpoint (from the end of April to the end of August you can see Puffins), walk along the glacier arm Sólheimajökull from the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, and on the way back to the capital you can stop at the Ægissíðufoss waterfall or in the interesting geothermal area Hveradalir.

Enjoy the beauty of the capital city of Reykjavík, walk through the center, picturesque streets, and all the sights that are a big part of the city. You can also buy some souvenirs from local shops. In the afternoon, you can spend time in one of the most famous thermal springs, Sky Lagoon in Reykjavík, or Blue Lagoon, which is a 40-minute drive from the city. For dinner, you can go to one of the restaurants and end the trip in a bar with amazing live music.

On your last morning, enjoy your final moments in Reykjavík (I recommend trying a cinnamon roll) and then slowly head to the airport. You can stop at a supermarket along the way for some souvenirs. Make one last stop before your flight at the famous Sundhnúkur volcano, and your amazing trip will be over. I dare say that Iceland is one of the most amazing places in the world, and I believe you will get to know it in all its glory.
