Today you will continue exploring the capital city. We have planned a trip for you through the history of the Khmer Rouge, as it is an important part of Cambodian culture. But before we delve into the dark past, we'll take you to a street named after our republic and visit two temples.

Since there's a lot to do today, we recommend you take a tuk-tuk for the whole day. Firstly, it's part of the local culture, and secondly, it's a great experience.

You will transfer by local transport to Siem Reap. The city is the starting point for visiting one of the most famous temple complexes of Angkor. The journey will be long, but upon arrival, you can freshen up at your accommodation or go for a drink in the city. The main street with markets is not far away.

Today, your first visit to Angkor awaits. You'll have a total of three days here. For the first day, we recommend a paid guided tour for the sunrise over Angkor Wat. On the second day, you can rent a tuk-tuk, like we did, and explore Angkor on your own. And on the third day, we'll take you to more remote temples. 

Above all, don't forget to buy a 3-day ticket to Angkor Wat, and not just for the one day with the guide - it's cheaper, and then you can move around freely.

The complex is enormous, so you won't be able to see it all even in three days. But of course, we'll show you the most famous and beautiful temples here.

And in the evening, you can relax with a wonderful performance of traditional Khmer dances.

Advice:

You can buy the Angkor ticket directly at the entrance. As for the sunrise tour, you can buy it at any accommodation. So, if you buy the aforementioned tour, you don't have to worry about the Angkor ticket. The guide will stop there during the journey and navigate you. 

Rent a tuk-tuk for the whole day and explore Angkor. You'll find many crumbling, repaired, hidden, or tall temples that you can climb and look out over the countryside.

If you've already had enough of Angkor yesterday, you can, of course, go elsewhere. Check out the other points or just wander around the city. Be sure to visit the Made in Cambodia market. It's something like our Mint markets. And you can end the day with a sweet treat in the form of chocolate. If you haven't had your fill of semi-dilapidated temples yet, here are a few tips. 

Today you will visit a lotus farm and a floating village. We were very surprised by everything that can be made from lotus and how it can be processed. Not to mention the beauty of seeing a field in bloom. The floating village is quite a peculiarity, so we don't want to deprive you of this experience either. If you still have enough energy and like museums, you can spice up your day with a tour of the local one. The easiest way to get around is again by tuk tuk. You rent it for the whole day and it's effortless and stress-free. He'll wait for you everywhere and maybe even recommend some other places.

We won't stay long in Battambang, but we'll enjoy it as much as we can. Today we have planned a trip for you to a rice wine making, rice paper making, bamboo sticky rice tasting, bamboo train ride, Wat Ek Phnom temple, and finally thousands of bats flying out at sunset.

Kampot itself is a very pleasant place. Today you have a relaxing day here, so you can take a look around and maybe go to the main promenade.

Maybe look for a motorbike rental right away. You will need it.

Today you will go on a day trip, preferably on a motorbike. Alternatively, you can of course buy a bus trip at the hotel. A very interesting place awaits you, namely the remains of a French colony. On the top of Bokor Hill National Park stand ruined buildings and the place has a really interesting atmosphere.

Today you will finally head to the famous pepper farms and salt fields. You can try it by motorbike. We chose a trip through the hotel. 

Not far from Kampot lies another small, well-known coastal town, Kep. If you want, rent a motorbike or take a tuk-tuk and take a short trip there.

Kep is famous for its crab dishes. You can sit down somewhere and try the local delicacy in many ways. However, we definitely recommend a better-looking restaurant.

Here it is. Throw on your swimsuit and get ready to relax on Caribbean beaches, even though you won't be in the Caribbean.

Today you have a boat trip ahead. And what exactly can you look forward to? Snorkeling, grilling on the boat, fishing, swimming at Long Beach, dancing, sunset and night swimming with phosphorescent plankton.

The captain will pick you up at the stand where you bought the trip or at a place he specifies. Then you will sail towards snorkeling on a small boat. You will try fishing in Koh Rong and then grill the fish right away. Don't worry, if you don't catch anything, the captain will surely have better luck. This is followed by a swimming stop at Long Beach, where you can walk to the dilapidated old building on the shore. The captain will offer you a drink and you can relax together to the rhythm of the music on deck. The trip ends with watching phosphorescent plankton at night.
