You will fly to Bordeaux, from the airport you will take the train to the main train station and then take a train directly to Arcachon. The journey will pass quickly and then you can explore the beauty of the town of Arcachon, or stroll along the beach and admire the calm waters of Arcachon Bay, or have a picnic on the beach and enjoy the sunset over the sea. 

You will explore the town of Arcachon - a walk in a picturesque park with a lookout tower, a beautiful winter town with impressive historical villas, and the second largest port in France in the Atlantic await you.

By boat from Arcachon to the opposite peninsula of Cap Ferret. It is a picturesque peninsula separating the Atlantic Ocean from the Bassin d'Arcachon lagoon. It is famous for its long beaches with waves for surfers on the ocean side and, conversely, calm bays with sandy shores on the lagoon side. At low tide, you can see oyster farms scattered all over the lagoon coast. On the peninsula you will find fishing villages with wooden houses, cozy establishments offering fresh oysters and the iconic Phare du Cap Ferret lighthouse with a panoramic view of the Dune du Pilat sand dune and the entire coast.

If you like endless sandy beaches, the view of beautiful and wild ocean waves, take a walk of several kilometers along the west coast of the Cap Ferret peninsula. Or take a blanket and something good and have a picnic and just enjoy the beauty of the ocean.

Trip to the highest sand dune in Europe - Dune du Pilat. Dune du Pilat is a breathtaking natural wonder - more than 100 meters high, 500 meters wide of sand, stretching almost 3 kilometers along the Atlantic. From the top of the dune, a fascinating panorama opens up: on one side the endless ocean, on the other pine forests and the Bassin d'Arcachon lagoon. The dune is still 'alive' - thanks to the wind and tide, it moves a few meters inland every year and slowly engulfs the surrounding forests.

You will venture to the outer part of Arcachon, to the beautiful beaches with pine groves and to the district of Le Moulleau. It is a popular district with a friendly atmosphere and the charm of a small resort. Its main street, full of cafes, boutiques and pastry shops, leads to the wide sandy beach and long pier, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Cap Ferret. The dominant feature is the Notre-Dame des Passes church, which gives the place a romantic feel. Le Moulleau is an ideal place for an evening stroll, a glass of wine and relaxation on the beach overlooking the sunset.

We recommend spending the last day in Bordeaux. The historical center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the ubiquitous wine tradition make this town in southwestern France an ideal destination for lovers of culture, gastronomy, and relaxed travel. You can look forward to a walk along the Garonne waterfront, exploring the historic center with its most important monuments, see the modern suspension bridge, and definitely don't miss the unique exhibition in the former submarine base. For wine lovers, the Cité du Vin museum will be an attraction.
