Today you will take a journey through the history of Naples, a city with a history of more than two thousand years. You'll wander the narrow streets of the UNESCO-listed historic centre and discover iconic landmarks such as Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace, and the Sansevero Chapel, home to the masterpiece sculpture The Veiled Christ. Naples' Piazza del Plebiscito will bring you closer to the glorious Bourbon era, while the ancient underground catacombs will reveal the secrets of the city beneath. After a day of exploration, enjoy traditional Neapolitan cuisine and end the evening with a stroll along the coastal promenade, where you can see the sea and the distant outline of Vesuvius, the eternal guardian of this fascinating metropolis.
