While the little sailors play safely in the shallow, warm water, you can take a deep breath of the salty air and watch the sunset with a drink in hand. Your first morning waking up to sunshine and the scent of pine trees. You'll spend the morning just the way a family vacation should be: lounging on the beach, catching some sun, and having fun in the sea together. Once the afternoon heat dies down, swap your swimsuits for light clothing and head out for a trip to the nearby historic town of Nin. Walking through its narrow streets feels like a journey back in time—you'll see the smallest cathedral in the world and the ruins of a Roman temple. You'll wrap up the trip with some delicious Adriatic ice cream on the waterfront before heading back to the resort.

Today is all about an experience that both kids and parents will remember the most. You'll head to the famous Queen's Beach in Nin, home to one of the largest medicinal mud deposits in Croatia. Forget about strict rules; getting messy is 100% encouraged here! Covering yourselves from head to toe is a blast for everyone. Once the mud dries in the sun, you can simply wash it off in the warm sea. In the afternoon, you'll return to Zaton full of energy and spirit.

The highlight of the whole week. Set off early in the morning towards the interior to Croatia's most famous national park, Plitvice Lakes. The drive will fly by, and by the end of it, you'll find yourself in an entirely different world that looks like it's straight out of the most beautiful fairy tale. A walk along the wooden pathways leading right over the crystal-clear water awaits you. The kids will be thrilled with the train ride and the boat trip across the largest lake, Kozjak. All day long, you'll be surrounded by roaring waterfalls, green forests, and caves. Full of impressions and with cameras packed with stunning photos, you'll head back to the peace and quiet of your resort in Zaton in the evening.

After yesterday's adventure, take the morning to relax and unwind. You can explore the pool complex with slides, grab a pizza, or simply enjoy the shade under the pine trees. In the afternoon, after 3 PM, when the sun isn't as intense, head over to nearby Zadar. You'll instantly fall in love with this ancient city thanks to the two attractions at the very end of the waterfront. Wrap up your walk in the historic center, which is packed with ice cream shops and street performers.

All good things must come to an end, and it's time to say goodbye to Zaton. Enjoy your breakfast in the morning, and if your flight time allows, you can take one last dip in the sea, collect a few final seashells as souvenirs, and then all that's left is to pack your bags and head home.
