I went to the Faroe Islands with my friend Silvia from Norway in February and we were lucky enough to have a blanket of snow everywhere. The Faroe Islands are relatively small, you can drive across them in about two hours from one side to the other, but given the volatility of Atlantic weather, I'd recommend setting aside a little extra time in case you have to spend a day in a cafe or accommodation due to heavy rain. As it happened to us. :) Otherwise, it's an absolutely beautiful part of Europe and I definitely recommend it with all ten hands!
