Northern Norway around the city of Tromsø is probably the best location for aurora viewing. The weather there is fairly stable, and if conditions are not favourable, it is no problem to cross the border into Finland. Plus, the polar night ends in February, so it's also possible to enjoy a few hours of daylight and beautiful sunsets when the weather is just right. In addition to the Tromso area, we will also visit Senja Island, where there are beautiful winter ascents and other opportunities to observe the Northern Lights. 

The weather in northern Norway is cold and can be windy in the winter months, so warm clothing is essential. Layers for active movement and also a warm winter jacket for shooting aurora borealis in the evening. It is not guaranteed that we will see them every night, it always depends on the weather, but we will try to look for places with clear skies.
