On the first day we arrive in Rovaniemi, where we pick up our cars, do some shopping and check in. In the afternoon we can explore the illuminated city or visit the local saunas. In the evening we visit Santa Claus Village for a chance to see the Northern Lights.

On the second day, we will visit the Husky Park, where we will meet local huskies and experience a dog sled ride through the snowy landscape.🐺🌲 Afterwards, we will head to the Syväsenvaara Fell lookout, where we will admire the sunset and the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. If the weather is good, we will try to see the Northern Lights again.

On the morning of the third day, we set off on our journey north to reach the town of Levi, a popular winter sports centre. Upon arrival, we will have a tour of the adjacent village of Kittilä and the opportunity to see reindeer in their natural habitat. In the evening we will visit the snow village of Lainio, where we hope to see the Northern Lights.

On the fourth day we will go hiking on Mount Kätkätunturi, where we will stretch our legs after a long sitting. Depending on the snow conditions we will either walk or snowshoe. In the evening, we will return to Kittilä and, depending on the weather, we will again look for the Northern Lights.

On the fifth day, we will head north early in the morning and our first stop will be the Siida Sami Culture Museum in the Inari area. We will then move on to the village of Ivalo where we will visit a reindeer farm and learn more about the life and care of these animals. We will end the day admiring the beauty of the Nordic nature and local culture.

On the penultimate day we will head back towards Rovaniemi, enjoying new views on a different route. We will stop at the village of Sodankylä, where we will take a short walk in the local hiking paradise.

We will spend our last day in Rovaniemi, if the departure time allows, shopping for souvenirs and visiting a local restaurant. Then we'll move to the airport and get ready for our journey home.
