On the first day you will arrive in the Hungarian capital and transfer to the city centre. After checking in, take some time to relax and soak up your first impressions of Budapest's vibrant atmosphere. Tomorrow, you'll be off to discover all its charms.

Today you'll immerse yourself in the heart of the city - walk through the historic centre, take in the monumental sights and grab a bite to eat at the market. Finish the day with a hike up Gellért Mountain for a breathtaking view of the whole of Budapest.

After exploring the city yesterday, you're in for a day of elegance, architectural gems and well-deserved rest. Soak up the atmosphere of the big city, discover hidden corners and impressive boulevards, and end the day relaxing in a place where history meets comfort.

The fourth day belongs to the other side of the Danube, where castle walls, gothic towers and breathtaking views await you. Take a cable car ride up and then slowly climb through time - from the royal chambers to the romantic towers of the Fisherman's Bastion.

Today you will go to the city with the largest basilica in Hungary - Esztergom. After an approximately one-hour train journey, you will arrive in this historic city, which was once the main seat of the Hungarian kings. Your first stop will be the monumental Esztergom Basilica, the largest church in the country, whose dome towers high above the Danube. You can ascend to the observation deck and enjoy panoramic views of the river and the surrounding countryside.

After exploring the basilica, stroll through the Old Town, where you'll find cosy cafés and restaurants. If you fancy something traditional, try the Hungarian goulash or the sweet treat of rétes (strudel).

In the afternoon, head to the Mária Valéria Bridge, which connects Esztergom with Štúrovo in Slovakia. Just a few minutes' walk and you'll find yourself in another country! From the Slovakian bank, you will have a wonderful view of the basilica and the whole city. Before returning to Budapest, enjoy a coffee overlooking the Danube or take a walk along the river to soak up the atmosphere of this historic place.

The last day will be in the spirit of moving to the airport and returning home. The time before departure depends on specific flight times - if you have a few moments to spare, you can take one last walk around your favourite spot, enjoy a coffee with a view or shop for souvenirs to remember.
