After a morning breakfast, you'll say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of Saigon and head south to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong Delta. The landscape changes, the city's concrete is replaced by rice paddies, palm trees, and winding river canals. Even during the journey, you feel that you are entering a completely different Vietnam – calmer, greener, and closer to the life of the water. Can Tho welcomes you with a relaxed pace and the typical atmosphere of the southern countryside, where life flows according to the rhythm of the river and the sunrise.

The day starts early, but the reward is one of the most authentic experiences of the whole trip – the Cai Rang floating market. Still in the early morning twilight, you'll set out on a boat across the calm Mekong River, while around you a colorful spectacle begins to unfold. Dozens of boats laden with fruit, vegetables, noodles, or coffee gather on the river, creating a unique market bustle right on the water. Each boat has its own story and each seller their own smile. For breakfast, you'll enjoy hot pho or Vietnamese coffee straight from the deck, with a view that will be etched in your memory forever. After returning to the mainland, you can continue exploring the tranquil life around the river – stroll through the local market, visit a traditional rice noodle factory, or taste freshly squeezed sugarcane juice. An interesting stop could also be a small cocoa farm, where you can taste homemade chocolate and learn how cocoa is grown in the delta conditions. If you crave even more peace and quiet, take a bike ride through the surrounding countryside, where you'll be greeted by palm tree avenues, small villages, and the broad smiles of the locals.

Today you leave the calm waters of the Mekong and embark on a journey to the coast, where a completely different Vietnam awaits – sun-drenched beaches, endless sand dunes, and the atmosphere of the fishing resort Mui Ne. The journey will take you through a changing landscape from the green delta, across country roads, to the ocean. Whether you pass fields with buffaloes or palm groves, every mile will bring you closer to another adventure, this time with the scent of the sea and salt in the air. Mui Ne will welcome you with golden sand, a warm wind, and the relaxed atmosphere of a seaside paradise.

The day begins early and in grand style, you will set off to the Red Sand Dunes when the sun is just coloring the tops of the hills in golden hues. A gentle breeze and fine sand create a painter's canvas, ideal for a romantic walk, photography, or an adrenaline-fueled ride on a sandboard or quad bike. The energy of the place will captivate you and draw you into a world of contrasts, the wild nature and harmonious details will inspire you. Afterwards, you will move to the fairytale Fair Stream, a shallow stream lined with red sandstone, white limestone, tropical greenery and burning palms. In the morning, you'll leave the coast and head to the mountain town of Da Lat, nestled high in the central highlands of Vietnam. The winding road will take you through a transformation of landscapes, from palm-fringed beaches to the cool mountain air, with each bend offering a new breathtaking view. The pleasant temperature and fresh atmosphere of Da Lat promise romantic strolls among mountain lakes, colonial architecture, and endless coffee plantations. 

Today is perfect for exploring the magic of Da Lat at your own pace. Embark on a fantastical journey to the iconic Crazy House, where architecture transforms into a dreamy labyrinth. Let the power of nature breathe upon you at the Datanla waterfall and wander through the sculptural world of the Clay Tunnel. End your day with coffee overlooking misty valleys from Robin Hill Café. 

Today brings a change of pace and scenery as you head towards the warm coast. The journey offers breathtaking views: mountain roads wind through forests, waterfalls, and tea plantations before opening up to a panorama overlooking the South China Sea. Gradually, the pines disappear and palms appear, the humid air carries the scent of the ocean, and the sun begins to warm more intensely.

Today is about slowing down, taking a deep breath, and letting Vietnam work its magic. At Thap Ba Hot Springs, you'll enjoy a surprising natural reset, Long Son Pagoda will calm you with its quiet strength, and the iconic Tran Phu Beach will remind you why the sea is the world's oldest healer. 

Today you'll be traveling from sunny Nha Trang back to Saigon. After days spent by the sea, you're returning to the bustling pace of the big city. The journey back is a chance to close the coastal chapter of your trip and prepare for the next program, shopping, or your flight home. Maybe you'll even have time for a morning walk on the beach or a quick coffee overlooking the ocean before heading back to the southern center of Vietnam.

Your second to last day in Vietnam will take you to one of the most iconic war memorials and to the spiritual and cultural heart of Ho Chi Minh City. In the morning, you will spend time in the Củ Chi tunnels, where you will get an idea of what everyday life was like during the guerrilla war. You will descend into the narrow corridors, learn about the ingenious underground system and improvised traps and equipment, which demonstrates the incredible resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese fighters. After returning to the city, you will move to the Cholon district, where you will visit one of the most beautiful pagodas in Saigon - Thien Hau. This Chinese shrine dedicated to the sea goddess will enchant you with the scent of incense sticks, detailed ceramic reliefs and a spiritual atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of the street. You will end the day with a walk through the traditional Chinese quarter, full of shops, markets and a life that beats to its own rhythm.

If you have some time in the morning, I recommend starting your day with a relaxing walk through the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The morning atmosphere is calmer here, the streets are slowly waking up, and the city breathes its colonial beauty to the fullest. You can visit the iconic Central Post Office, an architectural gem designed by Gustave Eiffel, which is still functioning and at the same time tells the story of the last century. Directly opposite stands the Notre-Dame Cathedral with its characteristic towers and facade of French bricks – an ideal place for a few last photos and a quiet moment to say goodbye. If your flight is later, use the time for some shopping or a last Vietnamese-style coffee. In the surrounding area you will find many souvenir shops where you can buy typical gifts: bags of fragrant coffee, rice noodles, traditional hats or hand-painted pictures.
