The morning starts at the Miradouro da Boca do Inferno viewpoint, where you'll have a breathtaking view into the Sete Cidades volcanic crater. Two lakes of different colors, endless greenery, and the ever-changing play of light create one of the most iconic images of the Azores. After the viewpoint itself, you'll descend to the lakes for a short walk, picnic, or scenic kayak cruise on Lago de Azul. In the evening, you'll dedicate yourself to well-deserved relaxation in the natural thermal springs, where hot volcanic water mixes with the cool Atlantic. Today, you'll head to the north coast of São Miguel and be captivated by the tranquility and power of the island's nature. First, you'll be enchanted by the Salto da Farinha waterfall, where water flows down a steep green slope into a valley surrounded by lush vegetation. Continue to Los Caldeiros, a vast natural park full of tall ferns, smaller waterfalls, and winding streams, creating the atmosphere of a tropical garden in the middle of the island. Stroll along the quiet paths, discover old stone mills and viewpoints, and soak in the feeling of being part of untouched nature. And if you want to end the day with real relaxation, the thermal springs near the park offer hot springs where you can relax and let nature work on your body and mind – the perfect ending to a day full of greenery and water.

This day starts by the ocean at Praia dos Mosteiros, where you can walk on the black volcanic sand, breathe in the salty air, and tune into the peaceful atmosphere of the west coast.
