Welcome to the capital of Ecuador. Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel 😎

After breakfast, we head south through the beautiful Andean countryside to the Quilotoa region. Our first stop will be at a viewpoint from where we will observe the beauty of the Quilotoa lagoon with its incredible turquoise hues. The lagoon is located in the middle of the crater of the volcano of the same name and is considered one of the most beautiful volcanic lagoons in Latin America! We will have the unique opportunity to descend the slopes of the crater to its shore, where those interested will be able to kayak. The way back up is somewhat challenging, so we recommend that less fit people take a mule ride. We will then make a short stop at the artisan workshop in the village of Tigua, which is famous for its paintings on leather. Before returning to Quito, we will stop over the Toachi River Canyon 🗻

After breakfast, we will take the cabin cable car to an altitude of 4,000 metres, from where we will have the city of Quito in the palm of our hands. We will stop at the Intiñan Museum, located right on the equator, where we will learn about all Ecuadorian cultures. We'll take a walk on the equator, experiencing the power of both the northern and southern hemispheres 🚠

We will continue to the thermal baths of Papallacta, where we will take a bath. In the evening we will return to Quito, rest at the hotel and then take the night transfer to Amazonia 🚌

At night we cross into the Amazon rainforest. We will go to a small river port, from where we will continue in a boat to the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, which is considered one of the most beautiful reserves in the Amazon of Ecuador. Cuyabeno has incredible biodiversity! We'll check in, have lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the area to observe

monkeys, parrots, sloths, morpho butterflies and if we're lucky we'll even spot river pink dolphins! We'll make our way to the lagoon where we'll witness a magical sunset. At dusk we'll return to the lodge and have dinner 🦥🐬🐦

Days 5 to 7 we have a whole lot of adventures ahead of us! We'll experience the jungle awakening, we'll make our way through dense vegetation and observe the fauna, a local guide will initiate us into the mystery of medicinal plants and if we're lucky, we'll meet a shaman and learn about the famous hallucinogenic drink ayahuasca! We may encounter anacondas, caimans, lots of monkeys and exotic birds, from parrots to macaws. The adventurous will have the opportunity to bathe in the murky Amazonian waters. Finally, we'll head out at dusk to meet caimans and other nocturnal creatures 🐍🐊

On the last day we will have a full day transfer to Quito and check in at the same hotel as after arrival.

Today we will visit the main tourist attractions of Imbabura Province. We will pass through the Guayallabamba Valley, the place where the equator, or "ecuador", passes through. In Otavalo, we will visit the local Indian markets where we will have the opportunity to buy many beautiful products from colorful bags to hand-painted pictures. On the way back we can stop at the Cuicocha lagoon. We will return to Quito in the afternoon 💯

After breakfast, we will visit the historical centre of Quito (UNESCO) - the highest capital city in the world (2850 m above sea level) and drive to the sacred peak of Panecillo with a 45 m high statue of the Virgin Mary, from which there is a magnificent view of the city and the surrounding volcanoes. Afterwards we will visit the Plaza Grande with the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Church of La Compañia de Jesús and the San Francisco Square with the Convent. We can also visit the Mercado Central market. Afternoon followed by a free program ✅

We will fly to San Cristobal Island with a stopover in Guayaquil. We'll check in and have the afternoon free for swimming. It is possible to visit Playa Mann beach, but it is usually very crowded with tourists as it is close to the centre and the port. Just nearby is the maypole surrounded by black lava rocks dotted with lots of multi-coloured crabs! If you like walking, I recommend visiting Punta Carola beach and the Mirador Cerro Tijeretas lookout. Below the viewpoint there is a trail to Muelle Tijeretas where you can also take a dip. Another option is to use the

a local taxi and take a US$4 ride to Playa Lobería beach. I highly recommend this beach, as it has already

the name suggests, it is very popular with the sea lion population, who will be there to do you in all the time

companionship. Wait for the magical sunset! You can take a walk back to the harbour

Baquerizo Moreno is within walking distance. Have dinner in one of the local taverns and don't let

take a romantic evening stroll along the seafront to the cry of the sea lions 🏊🌞

Afternoon Optional Activities: 

• Half-Day Tour Parte Alta - $60; Minimum participation is 5 people, includes a local guide in English. You will visit the La Galapaguera turtle farm where you will have the opportunity to see local turtles, climb the El Junco volcano where you will have a spectacular view of the surrounding area and visit the beach , Playa Chino where you will enjoy the untamed nature 🐢

After breakfast early in the morning we will go to the port where a boat will be ready to take us to Santa Cruz Island. After approximately two hours of sailing we will arrive at the port of Puerto Ayora. We will transfer to another boat and continue to Isabela Island to the port of Villamil. The rest of the afternoon will be at personal leisure, which you can use for swimming or for walks along the beach 🏊🚣

After breakfast we will have a half-day trip with a local guide to the Sierra Negra volcano, it is the highest and one of the most active volcanoes in the whole archipelago, and its northern side is usually shrouded in clouds and fog, which causes lush growth of vegetation. Some of the first inhabitants of the archipelago settled in this area! This volcano also has one of the largest cauldrons in the world! Once we reach the rim of the crater, we can descend down to the volcanic vents. Along the way, we will see different types of lava according to age and spot, for example, white egrets. After lunch, we will return to the port of Villamil and the rest of the afternoon will be at leisure, when you can go to the La Galapaguera animal farm and follow the marked trail to the place where the pink flamingos hunt. Along the way you will pass many marine iguanas, which are characterized by their prehistoric appearance 🗻🦩🦎

After breakfast, we'll take a half-day excursion to Tintoreras Island in a boat with a local guide to see local penguins, blue-finned boobies and lots of marine iguanas. We'll snorkel with coral fish and walk on lava rocks! In the afternoon, we'll sail back to Santa Cruz Island. 

Today we recommend a trip by luxury yacht to one of the most beautiful islands of the archipelago - Bartolomé. It is one of the most photographed islands with lunar landscapes. The trip includes a local guide in English, a yacht cruise and lunch ✅😍

Early in the morning we will transfer to Baltra Island and fly to Guyayaquil 🛫

Today we just have to get to the airport and ,Hasta pronto en Ecuador"! 🤗 Happy flight!
