Paralia Mpanana is a small beach with white soft sand in the southwest of Skiathos, enclosed between the rocks. It has all the amenities. The water is clear and the sea is calm, making this beach great for families with children.
The tranquil beach of Ayia Eleni is a short walk from Koukounaries. It is surrounded by green countryside full of pine trees and has spectacular sunsets.
If you want to go for history, be sure to visit this important religious site - the Evangelistria Monastery from 1806. It is open every day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. You can visit the church, the courtyard and a small museum.
