When I first arrived in Hamburg, a friend took me to the Reeperbahn, because if you haven't seen the Reeperbahn, you haven't really been to Hamburg... But it's mostly lively there at night, so there's plenty of time to explore the historic center from the Alster to the city hall or from the city hall to the Alster.

You might have to get up a bit early, but it will be worth it. Today is all about the biggest highlights of Hamburg. First, you'll head to the famous Fishmarkt, then visit the U-Boot Museum Hamburg to explore a real submarine. Next up is a stop at the iconic Elbphilharmonie with its beautiful city views, and you'll wrap up the day at Miniatur Wunderland, the world's largest model railway.
