On this trip to Island 🇮🇸 you will have an adventure in the women's collective💃💃. We will visit the most photogenic places of South and Southeast Iceland 📸. We will not miss the majestic waterfalls and mountains🗻, the world-famous Diamond Beach💎, the breathtaking glaciers and the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón🧊. Age or fitness doesn't matter 😎, we won't be doing any strenuous treks. We will go at our own pace and will have time for lots of photos and selfies and of course space to buy souvenirs. In the evening we'll chat over wine🍷and wait for the Northern Lights 💚. Don't hesitate to join us, you're sure to take away not only great photos, but an experience you'll never forget! 😍
Flight from Prague and arrival in Iceland 🇮🇸✈️
On arrival we will pick up our cars 🚘 and check in 🏡. If the Northern Lights are dancing, we will run out to watch them somewhere near our accommodation.
After breakfast we will go to the waterfalls. There are several along the way, both touristic and less visited.
Our first stop on the way will be the famous Seljalandsfoss.
Skógafoss is a "must see". Although it is one of the most visited, its majesty will amaze you. We will definitely stop here, and if the sun shines ☀️, we might even see a beautiful rainbow 🌈!
Near the Skógafoss waterfall there is a hidden treasure Kvernufoss. Compared to Skógafoss, there are much less people here and we can look directly behind the waterfall 😎!
We will stop at the cliff of Dyrhólaey before staying in the town of Vík. From the cliffs, we will have a beautiful black beach in the palm of our hands and luxurious views in all directions. The narrow cliff face with an arched opening through which the light of the setting sun comes through 🌅 is also called The Gateway of Iceland. When the weather is good, it's a great place to watch the sunset and the Northern Lights 💚.
In the morning, right after breakfast, we will go to the black beach Reynisfjara. Before the crowds of tourists arrive, we will have this amazing beach almost to ourselves.
It is perhaps the most famous and dangerous beach on Islande🇮🇸 ⚠️. Reynisfjara is famous for its tricky "Sneaker Waves" 🌊, dangerous waves that can quickly creep up on the shore without warning. It's also one of the most photographed places thanks to its black volcanic beach and impressive basalt columns. Reynisdrangar rock towers are shaped like sharp spikes and tower at the end of the black sand beach. The highest rock spire is 66 m high. The formations are also known as Troll Rocks.
Stjórnarfoss is an interesting waterfall , which is almost always empty and perfect for portraits 📸.
Walking southeast, we stop at another scenic spot at the Lomagnúpur mountain, which is beautifully reflected in the water. Almost everywhere we will come across horses 🐴 and we will definitely take pictures of them😍.
Svínafell j is probably my favorite glacier ❄️🧊 because it's a short walk to it and incredibly photogenic. If you own a drone and weather permitting, you can fully enjoy it from a bird's eye view. We can photograph the glacier from the hill or directly from the lagoon, we will be very close to it indeed.
Today we visit the world-famous glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón with its floating blue crags🧊 that break off the glacier and then float to Diamond Beach with its black sand💎. The lagoon will provide us with incredible scenery and we can have a small snack or a hot drink ☕️. It's also the perfect place to see seals 🦭🦭and the Northern Lights. Vatnajökull National Park 🗻 is a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Diamond Beach will surely take your breath away. It's not called Diamond Beach for nothing - the ice chunks are beautifully shaped and clear as diamonds. We will have them at our fingertips 💎.

In the morning we will go to sunrise on the Stokksnes peninsula with its black sand dunes and the majestic Vestrahorn mountain.
We will have the opportunity to visit the ice cave❄️🧊 and walk on the glacier with an experienced Czech guide (if conditions permit - not included). The guide will provide transport, helmets and crampons and arrange to enter the cave at a less touristy time. The ice caves change every season and can vary in colour from blue, to brown, to black, coloured by volcanic ash. We'll take away a bunch of beautiful photos and an experience to remember! 🥳😎
These caves are so unique and unfortunately they are melting at such a rate that we won't see them again in a few years. So consider very carefully if you really want to miss it.

On the way, we visit the photogenic Hofskirkja ⛪️ church with its graveyard - one of the few beautiful grass churches in Iceland. It was built in 1884 and renovated in the 1950s. It still serves as a church for local parishioners.
Near the town of Vík we visit another "hidden gem" - Gígjagjá or Yoda Cave✨Who wouldn't want to take a selfie in this iconic cave? 😎
We'll check in, and if the weather cooperates, we'll take pictures of the local church ⛪️ or head to Reynisfjara beach again 🌊. We will rest and wait for the Northern Lights. In the town of Vík we have the opportunity to shop for food 🍌🍞🧀 and souvenirs or go for a delicious soup served in lava bread🥣🌋..
Today we are going to bubble in the thermal water and warm up our frozen feet 👙🛁.
Next stop will be Gullfoss💧, the so-called Golden Waterfall , which is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland and the most massive in Europe. It is located just a few steps from the car park.
We will probably also stop at the famous Strokkur Geyser and wait for a few spurts - usually every 6-8 minutes. It starts with a blue bubble and then, to much cheering from the audience, spews boiling water some 20-35 metres high. However, we have to be very careful where we stand while waiting for this wonderful natural spectacle. If the wind is blowing in our direction, we can get wet as mice 😄🐭🚿.
Our last stop before departure will be Thingvellir National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
