The day of arrival will serve as a first taste of the islands (both figuratively and literally). After arriving at the airport, get a weekly pass for unlimited travel around the islands of Malta and Gozo and head towards the capital city of Valletta. Depending on your arrival time, you can start with a light exploration right away, or leave everything for the next day.
The tour can begin in the vicinity of accommodation near the Grand Harbour, which separates the historic center of Valletta from the Three Cities area. Once you have fully enjoyed the mysterious and fascinating atmosphere of the megaliths, set out to explore other beauties of the country, this time natural ones. On the rugged coast with limestone cliffs, you will be captivated by the Blue Grotto area with sea caves, cliffs and rock gates. The white rocks sharply contrasting with the blue sea are a feast for the eyes. End the day in a picturesque fishing village where time has stood still.
