Day 1
After arriving in North Macedonia, pick up your rental car and head to the center of Skopje. You can look forward to a pleasant walk through the historical and modern city center, where you'll visit the main square, the iconic Stone Bridge, the oriental Old Bazaar, and the Kale Fortress with its beautiful view of the city. If you have time left, end the day with a panoramic view from the top of Vodno. Feel free to adjust today's schedule based on your arrival time.
Day 2
Today, a trip to one of the most beautiful natural spots in North Macedonia awaits you. Just half an hour from the center of Skopje lies Matka Canyon, where you can take a boat trip to Vrelo Cave, go kayaking, or head out on a short hike along the turquoise Treska River. Since you have a car at your disposal the whole time, you can set your own pace for the day and enjoy this place without any rush.
Day 3
On your last day, you'll travel across North Macedonia. Along the way, you'll stop in Tetovo to visit one of the most beautiful mosques in the Balkans. Then, you'll arrive in Ohrid, whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, you'll take a scenic route through Pelister National Park and the city of Bitola back toward Skopje.
