It is called the land of fire and ice, but above all it is ruled by water in all its forms. The Nordic island nation is one of Europe's most sparsely populated countries, with two-thirds of its population crowded into its capital, Reykjavik. Glaciers, inaccessible mountains, volcanoes, raging rivers, fantastic waterfalls and rugged coastlines cover the rest of the country. And it's this beauty that we want to explore. I'm going to show you South Iceland, which will give us a week to see much of the best this Nordic island has to offer. We'll see waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, rugged landscapes, endless skies, tenacious horses, and we'll even experience local spas and Icelandic cuisine. If we're lucky and the weather cooperates, we might even get to see the most amazing phenomenon the north has to offer - the Northern Lights. We'll have a car at our disposal the whole time, so we can drive wherever we like and sleep nice and warm under a roof. And because Iceland is incredibly photogenic, there will be plenty of time to take good photos of all the places 📸.
