If you arrive in Miami during the day, you'll have a beautiful view of the Florida coastline and Miami Beach from the plane. You may then see planes landing in parallel, as there are two runways side by side in Miami.
On entering the airport area, turn on your US data SIM card or connect to the free wifi.
At customs, be prepared for questions like these:
What is the purpose of your trip, how many days will you spend in the U.S., what places will you visit, where are you working and what are you doing, how much cash are you taking with you.
Then pick up the car as instructed.
Your accommodation is located directly on Hollywood Beach, just north of Miami Beach. Unlike South Beach, this location is quieter and therefore particularly suitable for families or travellers looking for peace and quiet. The apartment has 2 bedrooms

The beach closes after sunset (around 6 p.m. in February).

Meet dolphins at the Dolphin Plus Marine Mammal Responder in Key Largo, a rescue and research station exploring dolphin life. Buy a takeaway or dine in at John Pennekamp Camp Area, a recreational park lined with mangroves. Check out the local underwater life at the Visitor Centre or take a refreshing dip in the sea at Cannon Beach. Park admission is approximately $10 per car and 4 visitors.
On your return from Key Largo, stop by Everglades Alligator Farm where your kids will have the unforgettable experience of holding a baby alligator at one of two shows. In addition to alligators, the farm offers several other species of animals to see, such as parrots, turtles, snakes, etc. If you've experienced a little adrenaline rush, you can also take a ride around the local wetlands in an airboat - a watercraft powered by a giant motorized fan. You leave Miami and head to Kissimmee, which is part of the Orlando metropolitan area. The advantage of Kissimmee is its proximity to all of Orlando's attractions (within a 15-minute drive), including Disney World, which you're going to the next day. There is also a Walmart Supercenter nearby.
Orlando is famous not only for its theme parks, but also for its cheap outlet shopping. We definitely recommend visiting one of them, such as the classic outdoor outlet mall Vineland Premium Outlets. After shopping, move to your accommodation.
The accommodation at this resort is absolutely fantastic. Pictorial houses, a lake with a lighted fountain, a pool with a slide for children... and most of all, amazing tranquility... but beware of alligators :) The three bedroom apartment is fully equipped.
During this day you will visit one of the Disney World parks - Magic Kingdom. Expect the park to be very large and combined with the high temperature, the day will be somewhat challenging. Bring plenty of drinks with you. If you want to save money, bring food with you. It is very expensive in the park.

It's not for nothing that they say a visit to Disney World will be the most expensive day of your life. From tickets to parking to food, they'll make you pay royally for everything. Ice cream will set you back $6. Don't forget to pick up a free "My First Visit" badge at any of the stores. 1) Bus tour - start with a tour of the facility where you will see the actual launch pads for the rockets and the building where the rockets are assembled.
2) Apollo Saturn 5 center - get off here as part of the bus tour. In this exibition you will see the Apollo project, including a recreation of the Apollo 8 liftoff right in the launch room. Then see the largest rocket ever assembled - the Saturn 5. You can also touch a real moon rock. Finally, visit a projection of the first lunar landing.
3) Space shuttle Atlantis - See the space shuttle Atlantis and try a ride in the shuttle simulator.
4) Heros and Legends Astronaut Hall of Fame - A museum of space artifacts and astronauts' personal effects.
5) Rocket garden - an outdoor rocket exhibit.
If you need to keep the kids more entertained, visit Planet Play - a space playground filled with climbing frames.
After this day trip, head back to Miami to begin preparing for tomorrow's boarding. If you want to save money on paid drinks on board the ship, stop at Walmart on your way back to Miami. A maximum of 1 original packaged bottle of wine (750 ml) per cabin is allowed on board Royal Caribbean. In addition, a maximum of 12 17 oz (500 ml) bottles or cans of soft drinks per stateroom may be taken.
Return your car to the airport and relax at this pleasant hotel by the airport. The taxi ride will take no more than 10 minutes.
Pack your luggage so that you have the essentials for the first few hours on the ship, including a swimsuit, in your carry-on or backpack. Checked luggage will be checked and will not be available for several hours after boarding.
Take a taxi from your accommodation to Port Miami. Upon arrival at the terminal, attach tags to large luggage and hand them to the porters free of charge. Leave your hand luggage with you.
Enter the terminal lobby where you will be taken through the check-in process. Prepare for security screening and document review - passports, ESTA and online check-in confirmation.
Each person in the cabin will receive a card that serves as your room card, your ID card upon embarkation and disembarkation, but also as a payment card on board as it is linked to the credit card from your reservation. Only this card is used to pay on board.
After embarkation, you will receive in-app evacuation training, which will conclude with a visit to the muster station - the assembly point where you will move to in the event of an evacuation. Follow the instructions in your app or on the radio.
Your stateroom will not be immediately available after embarkation as cleanup is still underway. Cabins are usually not available until after 2pm. Have lunch in the buffet restaurant or start your tour of the ship. Towels are available for loan at the pool.

One drawback may be that the most beautiful sandy beaches can be found at the beach clubs - small resorts that abound with everything from beach chairs, pools and water rides to bars and restaurants. However, there is a fee to enter these beach clubs. Most beach clubs offer either a fee to enter the resort or an all-inclusive program, where you get unlimited food and drink included in the price of admission.
The most famous beach club on the island is Paradise Beach (see below), where admission alone costs $15, but on exposed days like spring break, they'll probably only let you in if you buy the All Inclusive package ($68 per adult, $41 per child under 11). A taxi ride from the port takes about 10 minutes and will set you back $18 for a full taxi ride one way.

The most affordable beach is one of the few sandy beaches on the island that is free, Playa San Francisco. This is located next to another famous beach club, Playa Mia. You won't have any sunbeds, bars or bathroom facilities here, but the sea and sand are stunning. The taxi ride will cost you the same as going to Paradise beach.
As we write above, Paradise Beach is one of the most luxurious beach clubs in Cozumel. As part of your admission, you get sunbeds, an umbrella, a pool, bathrooms, hammocks and wifi. In the case of the All Inclusive package, extra food and drinks throughout the day. There is also a water park with inflatable attractions in the shallows. However, entry is subject to the purchase of a $14 Fun Pass.
The second stop on your cruise will be the Central American country of Belize.

Belize City is not a classic beach destination, and you'll know it when you arrive at the port. For this reason, either arrange a trip via a cruise ship in advance or choose a trip from a range of local providers. For our part, we recommend a trip to the barrier reef (the largest in the Western Hemisphere) and specifically to Goff's Caye, a small island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.
After disembarking, head towards the terminal building where you will find a large number of local tour operators. Look for a booth offering a trip to Goff's Caye, a small island in the middle of the sea. The total length of the trip is 4 hours, the speedboat ride will take less than 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you'll start snorkelling at the edge of the coral reef, where you can spot schools of tropical fish, stingrays or lobsters. Afterwards, you can relax in the shallow, crystal clear water. You will spend less than 3 hours on site. The trip includes snorkelling equipment and drinks (a bottle of water and a Caribbean punch).
The third stop on your cruise will be the island of Roatán, belonging to the state of Honduras.

There are 2 marinas on Roatán - Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay. Royal Caribbean anchors at the smaller of the two ports, Coxen Hole (named after pirate John Coxen), which does not have a beach. We therefore recommend either purchasing one of the excursions offered by the ship or taking a taxi to West Bay Beach, 20 minutes away, which is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

Access to the beach is free, if you want to use the sunbeds, go to one of the beach bars where you can rent them for a fee. Don't forget to bring your snorkelling equipment.

The port of Costa Maya is one of the smaller terminals, which can make it feel a bit crowded when there are more ships docked. In the harbour you will find a pool bar, a large number of shops and restaurants. There is also a rope bridge that runs around the harbour, allowing you to see the terminal from a height. With children, you can watch flamingos or watch dolphin exercises for free. If you want to buy something, we recommend going outside the terminal area, where prices are much lower.
What else to see in Costa Maya than the Mayan pyramids!? We recommend purchasing a trip to the pyramids directly through Royal Caribbean (prices are around $80 per adult, $60 per child depending on availability and current offerings) or you can use one of the local tour providers in port. Time your trip towards the early morning hours to avoid the intense heat. If you purchase your excursion directly from Royal Caribbean, you will be transported back to the port. Upon return, we recommend having lunch on board the ship.
If you feel like cooling off in the sea after a hot day, the nearest option is to visit Mahahual beach. This beach is about a 30-minute walk from the marina, however, we recommend taking a taxi (around $4 per person one way). The journey takes about 10 min. The beach is public with free entry, however beware of street chasers, they will want to offer you a package to one of the restaurants. There are plenty of taxis available in the beach area, so don't worry about getting back to the port.
On your last day on the ship, make the most of it and try out the full range of activities the ship has to offer. Follow the daily schedule in the app to see what's happening on the ship.
If you haven't paid your gratuity in advance, have it cancelled from your account at customer service, with the understanding that you will pay in cash and ask for envelopes.
Next, confirm on the app if you would like to use a porter to take your luggage when you disembark or if you would like to take your luggage yourself. If you would like to use the porter service, please enter your preferred disembarkation time in the app, and the valet will then leave luggage tags in your room with your disembarkation group number and the belt number where your luggage will be located in the terminal lobby.
In the afternoon, you will need to pack and prepare your suitcases to leave the ship. If you have chosen the porter service, please leave your packed suitcases in the corridor outside your cabin after 9pm.

Belize City is not a classic beach destination, and you'll know it when you arrive at the port. For this reason, either arrange a trip via a cruise ship in advance or choose a trip from a range of local providers. For our part, we recommend a trip to the barrier reef (the largest in the Western Hemisphere) and specifically to Goff's Caye, a small island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.
After disembarking, head towards the terminal building where you will find a large number of local tour operators. Look for a booth offering a trip to Goff's Caye, a small island in the middle of the sea. The total length of the trip is 4 hours, the speedboat ride will take less than 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you'll start snorkelling at the edge of the coral reef, where you can spot schools of tropical fish, stingrays or lobsters. Afterwards, you can relax in the shallow, crystal clear water. You will spend less than 3 hours on site. The trip includes snorkelling equipment and drinks (a bottle of water and a Caribbean punch).
The third stop on your cruise will be the island of Roatán, belonging to the state of Honduras.

There are 2 marinas on Roatán - Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay. Royal Caribbean anchors at the smaller of the two ports, Coxen Hole (named after pirate John Coxen), which does not have a beach. We therefore recommend either purchasing one of the excursions offered by the ship or taking a taxi to West Bay Beach, 20 minutes away, which is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

Access to the beach is free, if you want to use the sunbeds, go to one of the beach bars where you can rent them for a fee. Don't forget to bring your snorkelling equipment.
During this day in Costa Maya, you will visit the Mayan pyramids and take a dip in the warm Caribbean sea.

The port of Costa Maya is one of the smaller terminals, which can make it feel a bit crowded when there are more ships docked. In the harbour you will find a pool bar, a large number of shops and restaurants. There is also a rope bridge that runs around the harbour, allowing you to see the terminal from a height. With children, you can watch flamingos or watch dolphin exercises for free. If you want to buy something, we recommend going outside the terminal area, where prices are much lower.
What else to see in Costa Maya than the Mayan pyramids!? We recommend purchasing a trip to the pyramids directly through Royal Caribbean (prices are around $80 per adult, $60 per child depending on availability and current offerings) or you can use one of the local tour providers in port. Time your trip towards the early morning hours to avoid the intense heat. If you purchase your excursion directly from Royal Caribbean, you will be transported back to the port. Upon return, we recommend having lunch on board the ship.
If you feel like cooling off in the sea after a hot day, the nearest option is to visit Mahahual beach. This beach is about a 30-minute walk from the marina, however, we recommend taking a taxi (around $4 per person one way). The journey takes about 10 min. The beach is public with free entry, however beware of street chasers, they will want to offer you a package to one of the restaurants. There are plenty of taxis available in the beach area, so don't worry about getting back to the port.
On your last day on the ship, make the most of it and try out the full range of activities the ship has to offer. Follow the daily schedule in the app to see what's happening on the ship.
If you haven't paid your gratuity in advance, have it cancelled from your account at customer service, with the understanding that you will pay in cash and ask for envelopes.
Next, confirm on the app if you would like to use a porter to take your luggage when you disembark or if you would like to take your luggage yourself. Flights back to Europe generally depart later in the afternoon, so you have a full day in Miami ahead of you. Book a taxi and go shopping at the Dolphin mall outlet mall.
Visit Dolphin mall, a renowned outlet mall with over 240 shops and restaurants near the airport. You'll find storage bins next to the toilets next to the Food Court, or store your suitcases with one of the Bounce service providers. You can put the kids in a trolley with a built-in tablet.
Plan to arrive at the airport at least 2.5 hours before departure, as there are often long queues at security. Have a safe journey!

If you arrive in Miami during the day, you'll have a beautiful view of the Florida coastline and Miami Beach from the plane. You may then see planes landing in parallel, as there are two runways side by side in Miami.
On entering the airport area, turn on your US data SIM card or connect to the free wifi.
At customs, be prepared for questions like these:
What is the purpose of your trip, how many days will you spend in the U.S., what places will you visit, where are you working and what are you doing, how much cash are you taking with you.
Then pick up the car as instructed.

After the morning rush hour, head to South Beach to fish for bronze. Park a few blocks directly off the famous Ocean Dr, which is lined with Art Deco style homes. Parking is based on $3 per hour and you pay at a parking meter. Grab lunch at the classic American restaurant Big Pink or admire the toned bodies of local musclemen in the shade of a palm tree in Lummus Park.
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city for a while, Virginia Key beach park with Playita beach is the perfect place for a picnic. It is located on the first of the islands leading to Key Biscayne. Here, you'll experience a breathtaking view of the Miami skyline and an enchanting sunset. Parking and access to the beach is free. The beach closes after sunset (around 6 p.m. in February).
You will spend the whole third day on the road. The first stop will be Key Largo and then you will move to the border of Everglades National Park. So be prepared to take food and drink with you.
Meet dolphins at the Dolphin Plus Marine Mammal Responder in Key Largo, a rescue and research station exploring dolphin life. This is a truly unique experience where keepers will first introduce you to dolphin life and behavior both in the wild and in captivity. If you want to get up close and personal with the dolphins, book one of the dolphin encounter packages in advance, either in the water or on the water platform where keepers will allow you to interact directly with these amazing mammals.
Buy a takeaway or dine in at John Pennekamp Camp Area, a recreational park lined with mangroves. Check out the local underwater life at the Visitor Centre or take a refreshing dip in the sea at Cannon Beach. Park admission is approximately $10 per car and 4 visitors.
On your return from Key Largo, stop by Everglades Alligator Farm where your kids will have the unforgettable experience of holding a baby alligator at one of two shows. In addition to alligators, the farm offers several other species of animals to see, such as parrots, turtles, snakes, etc. If you've experienced a little adrenaline rush, you can also take a ride around the local wetlands in an airboat - a watercraft powered by a giant motorized fan. Advance reservations are not required.
You leave Miami and head to Kissimmee, which is part of the Orlando metropolitan area. The advantage of Kissimmee is its proximity to all of Orlando's attractions (within a 15-minute drive), including Disney World, which you're going to the next day. There is also a Walmart Supercenter nearby.
Orlando is famous not only for its theme parks, but also for its cheap outlet shopping. We definitely recommend visiting one of them, such as the classic outdoor outlet mall Vineland Premium Outlets. After shopping, move to your accommodation.
The accommodation at this resort is absolutely fantastic. Pictorial houses, a lake with a lighted fountain, a pool with a slide for children... and most of all, amazing tranquility... but beware of alligators :) The three bedroom apartment is fully equipped.
During this day you will visit one of the Disney World parks - Magic Kingdom. Expect the park to be very large and combined with the high temperature, the day will be somewhat challenging. Bring plenty of drinks with you. If you want to save money, bring food with you. It is very expensive in the park.
Be sure to buy your tickets in advance, as they often sell out on exposed days during spring break.
It's not for nothing that they say a visit to Disney World will be the most expensive day of your life. From tickets to parking to food, they'll make you pay royally for everything. On the other hand, it is an unforgettable experience not only for kids but also for adults. The price of admission includes all the attractions, including an approach train or boat that will take you from the parking lot to the main gate of the park. The advantage is that you can leave the park and come back later if your kids want to take a break during the day. And the park is really big! During the day you can enjoy 2 parades of the most famous Disney characters and in the evening a spectacular fireworks display. We recommend buying food and drink to go to save a buck. Ice cream will set you back $6. Don't forget to pick up a free "My First Visit" badge at any of the stores. Then, in the evening after dark, the highlight of the evening is the fireworks display over the castle.
Your next stop will be the Kennedy Space Center, which opens at 9 a.m. Check out of your accommodations early in the morning to be among the first to arrive and avoid the morning rush hour in Orlando.
Kennedy Space Center will be an experience for adults and children alike. Purchase tickets online in advance to save time in line. Below you will find the TOP attractions not to miss:
1) Bus tour - start with a tour of the facility where you will see the actual launch pads for the rockets and the building where the rockets are assembled.
2) Apollo Saturn 5 center - get off here as part of the bus tour. In this exibition you will see the Apollo project, including a recreation of the Apollo 8 liftoff right in the launch room. Then see the largest rocket ever assembled - the Saturn 5. You can also touch a real moon rock. Finally, visit a projection of the first lunar landing.
3) Space shuttle Atlantis - See the space shuttle Atlantis and try a ride in the shuttle simulator.

If you arrive in Miami during the day, you'll have a beautiful view of the Florida coastline and Miami Beach from the plane. You may then see planes landing in parallel, as there are two runways side by side in Miami.
On entering the airport area, turn on your US data SIM card or connect to the free wifi.
At customs, be prepared for questions like these:
What is the purpose of your trip, how many days will you spend in the U.S., what places will you visit, where are you working and what are you doing, how much cash are you taking with you.
Then pick up the car as instructed.
Your accommodation is located directly on Hollywood Beach, just north of Miami Beach. Unlike South Beach, this location is quieter and therefore particularly suitable for families or travellers looking for peace and quiet. The apartment has 2 bedrooms
(one with 2 double beds, the other with 1 double bed), 2 bathrooms with toilet, kitchen, living room and balcony with amazing ocean views. The apartment has a private beach, swimming pool, gym, games room and parking. These services are not included and are paid separately at the front desk of the building - $15 per adult, regardless of length of stay for use of services, $10 for parking per day.
You will probably wake up early in the morning due to the time shift. Take advantage of this and head to Hollywood Beach near your accommodation for a breathtaking sunrise. Before you hit the road to Miami Beach, go grocery shopping at the nearest Walmart Supercenter.
After the morning rush hour, head to South Beach to fish for bronze. Park a few blocks directly off the famous Ocean Dr, which is lined with Art Deco style homes. Parking is based on $3 per hour and you pay at a parking meter. Grab lunch at the classic American restaurant Big Pink or admire the toned bodies of local musclemen in the shade of a palm tree in Lummus Park.
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city for a while, Virginia Key beach park with Playita beach is the perfect place for a picnic. It is located on the first of the islands leading to Key Biscayne. Here, you'll experience a breathtaking view of the Miami skyline and an enchanting sunset. Parking and access to the beach is free. The beach closes after sunset (around 6 p.m. in February).
You will spend the whole third day on the road. The first stop will be Key Largo and then you will move to the border of Everglades National Park. So be prepared to take food and drink with you.
Meet dolphins at the Dolphin Plus Marine Mammal Responder in Key Largo, a rescue and research station exploring dolphin life. This is a truly unique experience where keepers will first introduce you to dolphin life and behavior both in the wild and in captivity. If you want to get up close and personal with the dolphins, book one of the dolphin encounter packages in advance, either in the water or on the water platform where keepers will allow you to interact directly with these amazing mammals.
Buy a takeaway or dine in at John Pennekamp Camp Area, a recreational park lined with mangroves. Check out the local underwater life at the Visitor Centre or take a refreshing dip in the sea at Cannon Beach. Park admission is approximately $10 per car and 4 visitors.
On your return from Key Largo, stop by Everglades Alligator Farm where your kids will have the unforgettable experience of holding a baby alligator at one of two shows. In addition to alligators, the farm offers several other species of animals to see, such as parrots, turtles, snakes, etc. If you've experienced a little adrenaline rush, you can also take a ride around the local wetlands in an airboat - a watercraft powered by a giant motorized fan. Advance reservations are not required.
You leave Miami and head to Kissimmee, which is part of the Orlando metropolitan area. The advantage of Kissimmee is its proximity to all of Orlando's attractions (within a 15-minute drive), including Disney World, which you're going to the next day. There is also a Walmart Supercenter nearby.
Orlando is famous not only for its theme parks, but also for its cheap outlet shopping. We definitely recommend visiting one of them, such as the classic outdoor outlet mall Vineland Premium Outlets. After shopping, move to your accommodation.
The accommodation at this resort is absolutely fantastic. Pictorial houses, a lake with a lighted fountain, a pool with a slide for children... and most of all, amazing tranquility... but beware of alligators :) The three bedroom apartment is fully equipped.
During this day you will visit one of the Disney World parks - Magic Kingdom. Expect the park to be very large and combined with the high temperature, the day will be somewhat challenging. Bring plenty of drinks with you. If you want to save money, bring food with you. It is very expensive in the park.
Be sure to buy your tickets in advance, as they often sell out on exposed days during spring break.
It's not for nothing that they say a visit to Disney World will be the most expensive day of your life. From tickets to parking to food, they'll make you pay royally for everything. On the other hand, it is an unforgettable experience not only for kids but also for adults. The price of admission includes all the attractions, including an approach train or boat that will take you from the parking lot to the main gate of the park. The advantage is that you can leave the park and come back later if your kids want to take a break during the day. And the park is really big! During the day you can enjoy 2 parades of the most famous Disney characters and in the evening a spectacular fireworks display. We recommend buying food and drink to go to save a buck. Ice cream will set you back $6. Don't forget to pick up a free "My First Visit" badge at any of the stores. Then, in the evening after dark, the highlight of the evening is the fireworks display over the castle.
Your next stop will be the Kennedy Space Center, which opens at 9 a.m. Check out of your accommodations early in the morning to be among the first to arrive and avoid the morning rush hour in Orlando.
Kennedy Space Center will be an experience for adults and children alike. Purchase tickets online in advance to save time in line. Below you will find the TOP attractions not to miss:
1) Bus tour - start with a tour of the facility where you will see the actual launch pads for the rockets and the building where the rockets are assembled.
2) Apollo Saturn 5 center - get off here as part of the bus tour. In this exibition you will see the Apollo project, including a recreation of the Apollo 8 liftoff right in the launch room. Then see the largest rocket ever assembled - the Saturn 5. You can also touch a real moon rock. Finally, visit a projection of the first lunar landing.
3) Space shuttle Atlantis - See the space shuttle Atlantis and try a ride in the shuttle simulator.
4) Heros and Legends Astronaut Hall of Fame - A museum of space artifacts and astronauts' personal effects.
5) Rocket garden - an outdoor rocket exhibit.
If you need to keep the kids more entertained, visit Planet Play - a space playground filled with climbing frames.
After this day trip, head back to Miami to begin preparing for tomorrow's boarding. If you want to save money on paid drinks on board the ship, stop at Walmart on your way back to Miami. A maximum of 1 original packaged bottle of wine (750 ml) per cabin is allowed on board Royal Caribbean. In addition, a maximum of 12 17 oz (500 ml) bottles or cans of soft drinks per stateroom may be taken.
Return your car to the airport and relax at this pleasant hotel by the airport. The taxi ride will take no more than 10 minutes.
Pack your luggage so that you have the essentials for the first few hours on the ship, including a swimsuit, in your carry-on or backpack. Checked luggage will be checked and will not be available for several hours after boarding.
Take a taxi from your accommodation to Port Miami. Upon arrival at the terminal, attach tags to large luggage and hand them to the porters free of charge. Leave your hand luggage with you.
Enter the terminal lobby where you will be taken through the check-in process. Prepare for security screening and document review - passports, ESTA and online check-in confirmation.
Each person in the cabin will receive a card that serves as your room card, your ID card upon embarkation and disembarkation, but also as a payment card on board as it is linked to the credit card from your reservation. Only this card is used to pay on board.
After embarkation, you will receive in-app evacuation training, which will conclude with a visit to the muster station - the assembly point where you will move to in the event of an evacuation. Follow the instructions in your app or on the radio.
Your stateroom will not be immediately available after embarkation as cleanup is still underway. Cabins are usually not available until after 2pm. Have lunch in the buffet restaurant or start your tour of the ship. Towels are available for loan at the pool.
Once your cabin is available, your checked luggage will probably not yet be available. These will be delivered to you in the hallway outside your room during the afternoon.
You will meet your maid who will clean your cabin regularly during your stay. Agree with him/her what time of the day you would like to be cleaned. If you have a cabin for 4 people, the sofa will be laid out for you or the beds, which are built into the ceiling, will be opened by the maid. Your first stop during the cruise will be the Mexican island of Cozumel. Cozumel is geographically located just across the street from the famous Playa del Carmen.

The main landmark of this island is the crystal clear sea and nice beaches. One drawback may be that the most beautiful sandy beaches can be found at the beach clubs - small resorts that abound with everything from beach chairs, pools and water rides to bars and restaurants. However, there is a fee to enter these beach clubs. Most beach clubs offer either a fee to enter the resort or an all-inclusive program, where you get unlimited food and drink included in the price of admission.
The most famous beach club on the island is Paradise Beach (see below), where admission alone costs $15, but on exposed days like spring break, they'll probably only let you in if you buy the All Inclusive package ($68 per adult, $41 per child under 11). A taxi ride from the port takes about 10 minutes and will set you back $18 for a full taxi ride one way.
Another option for a day at the beach is Playa Palancar, where admission is $20 per person. The price will include an umbrella, sun loungers and bathroom facilities. The taxi ride from the port will then take 15 minutes and will cost you $25 for a taxi one way.
The most affordable beach is one of the few sandy beaches on the island that is free, Playa San Francisco. This is located next to another famous beach club, Playa Mia. You won't have any sunbeds, bars or bathroom facilities here, but the sea and sand are stunning. The taxi ride will cost you the same as going to Paradise beach.
As we write above, Paradise Beach is one of the most luxurious beach clubs in Cozumel. As part of your admission, you get sunbeds, an umbrella, a pool, bathrooms, hammocks and wifi. In the case of the All Inclusive package, extra food and drinks throughout the day. There is also a water park with inflatable attractions in the shallows. However, entry is subject to the purchase of a $14 Fun Pass.
The second stop on your cruise will be the Central American country of Belize.

Belize City is not a classic beach destination, and you'll know it when you arrive at the port. For this reason, either arrange a trip via a cruise ship in advance or choose a trip from a range of local providers. For our part, we recommend a trip to the barrier reef (the largest in the Western Hemisphere) and specifically to Goff's Caye, a small island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.
After disembarking, head towards the terminal building where you will find a large number of local tour operators. Look for a booth offering a trip to Goff's Caye, a small island in the middle of the sea. The total length of the trip is 4 hours, the speedboat ride will take less than 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you'll start snorkelling at the edge of the coral reef, where you can spot schools of tropical fish, stingrays or lobsters. Afterwards, you can relax in the shallow, crystal clear water. You will spend less than 3 hours on site. The trip includes snorkelling equipment and drinks (a bottle of water and a Caribbean punch).
The third stop on your cruise will be the island of Roatán, belonging to the state of Honduras.

There are 2 marinas on Roatán - Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay. Royal Caribbean anchors at the smaller of the two ports, Coxen Hole (named after pirate John Coxen), which does not have a beach. We therefore recommend either purchasing one of the excursions offered by the ship or taking a taxi to West Bay Beach, 20 minutes away, which is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
West Bay Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. There are several luxury hotels and beach clubs in the bay. Access to the beach is free, if you want to use the sunbeds, go to one of the beach bars where you can rent them for a fee. Don't forget to bring your snorkelling equipment.
During this day in Costa Maya, you will visit the Mayan pyramids and take a dip in the warm Caribbean sea.

The port of Costa Maya is one of the smaller terminals, which can make it feel a bit crowded when there are more ships docked. In the harbour you will find a pool bar, a large number of shops and restaurants. There is also a rope bridge that runs around the harbour, allowing you to see the terminal from a height. With children, you can watch flamingos or watch dolphin exercises for free. If you want to buy something, we recommend going outside the terminal area, where prices are much lower.
What else to see in Costa Maya than the Mayan pyramids!? We recommend purchasing a trip to the pyramids directly through Royal Caribbean (prices are around $80 per adult, $60 per child depending on availability and current offerings) or you can use one of the local tour providers in port. Time your trip towards the early morning hours to avoid the intense heat. If you purchase your excursion directly from Royal Caribbean, you will be transported back to the port. Upon return, we recommend having lunch on board the ship.
If you feel like cooling off in the sea after a hot day, the nearest option is to visit Mahahual beach. This beach is about a 30-minute walk from the marina, however, we recommend taking a taxi (around $4 per person one way). The journey takes about 10 min. The beach is public with free entry, however beware of street chasers, they will want to offer you a package to one of the restaurants. There are plenty of taxis available in the beach area, so don't worry about getting back to the port.
On your last day on the ship, make the most of it and try out the full range of activities the ship has to offer. Follow the daily schedule in the app to see what's happening on the ship.
