If time and energy permit, you can take a short walk around the neighborhood, grab dinner at one of the local restaurants, or see some of the best sights in Sydney. Tomorrow, another flight awaits you, this time to Perth in Western Australia, where your real adventure begins, so make sure to recharge your batteries.

You will fly into the city of Perth in Western Australia. On the first day of your road trip, you'll be welcomed by Perth, Australia's most isolated major city, where your whole west coast road trip begins. After a long flight, we recommend just slowing down, picking up your car, and soaking in the atmosphere of Western Australia, which feels much calmer and more relaxed than the better-known eastern part of the country.
