The island of Tenerife offers an incredible natural spectacle in several "climate belts". Either you're sunbathing in the Costa Adeje or scrambling up the Teide volcano (3715m), where warm clothes are required and there's snow on top. Each part of the island has completely different weather patterns and the environment changes accordingly. The island is of volcanic origin and thus offers a completely different spectacle than our Czech mountains, but you can find them here too:-) The wine regions are full of local restaurants and great wines as well as banana plantations and awesome humidity. Tenerife is an island of all colours and tastes and never ceases to amuse and amaze me. The hospitality of the Canary Islanders is very kind. However, they have their own peace and time for everything...so let's be flexible too:-)
