The ascent to the highest peak of the island - Pico Ruivo will amaze you with the monumentality of the local mountains and beautiful endless views.
Your trip will of course include a swim in the Atlantic Ocean. We will take you to a very pleasant sandy beach on the east of the island, whose romance attracts couples to say their "I do's" in this place.
The Encumeada mountain pass, located in the heart of the island and bisecting Madeira in two halves, will amaze you with its enormous cliffs, deep basins and high peaks, through which clouds roll across the sky and float to the Atlantic Ocean.
We will visit the magical Fanal Forest with its centuries-old laurel trees, whose misty fairy-tale atmosphere will make you stop for a moment and believe that The Lord of the Rings is not just fiction.
The north of the island has its own unique atmosphere. The stone needle rising from the ocean in Ribeira da Janele will be the jewel of your videos and photos.
One of the most beautiful levadas will dazzle you with its infinite peace and fairy-tale atmosphere. If you want to be transported to another dimension, you have come to the right place. Three low and narrow tunnels lead you there, and you will be dazzled by the gurgling water cascades and shady fern-lined hills. You will meet no one in the first half of the journey, because only your guide knows about it.
The Chapel of Our Lady of Fatima in the picturesque town of Sao Vicente will make you pause for a moment, contemplate and enjoy the view of the wild, untamed north of the island.
Five hundred metres above sea level, the magical Palheiro Gardens landscape park is located above the capital city of Funchal. The park is owned by the English Blandi family, who have lived on the island for over two hundred years. The beautiful park is filled with a wealth of exotic trees and flowers. They boast araucarias, camellias, strelitzia, roses and water lilies of all colours. There is also a romantic chapel, a tea room, a water garden with a small stream running through it and the Blandy family's hotel and country house hidden in the greenery.
In the second half of the day you will be given information about the history, life and culture of Madeira. You will learn how the island was lived in the past, what its inhabitants did, and get acquainted with the traditions and folklore of the friendly Madeirans.
On a white catamaran you will explore the Atlantic Ocean, its coastline, enjoy the sight of dolphins frolicking and swim in the refreshing waves beneath the Cabo Girao reef. If you're lucky, you'll also spot lone whales.
The afternoon will belong to the free program. You will certainly spend it with a good meal in one of Funchal's renowned restaurants and you will get a chance to relax in the town's gardens or do some shopping.
Santa Cruz (Holy Cross) is a cosy town located a stone's throw from Madeira's Cristian Ronaldo Airport. You'll spend the last moments of your stay in Madeira in the narrow streets with restaurants and small shops. You can use them to explore the Matriz de Santa Cruz church, stroll along the beach promenade, sit on the terrace of one of the restaurants or buy your last souvenirs.
