At the iconic Ocean Road Memorial Arch, you stop, just stand for a moment, and watch the asphalt wind between the sea and the forest. And then on to Lorne – a seaside town nestled among the hills, where the day breaks into evening and everything suddenly slows down.
Day 3
The day begins on the golden sand of Apollo Bay Beach, where the sea awakens in silence and the morning air is slightly salty. You continue along the coast to Kennett River, where sleepy koalas watch you from between the trees and the forest smells of eucalyptus. A short stop at Cape Patton Lookout will open up breathtaking views – endless blue, winding roads, and air that expands you from within. At Marengo Beach, you slow down, maybe just sit, watch the waves, and listen to the wind. And then comes the finale. The 12 Apostles at sunset.
