Transportation is provided by Wizz Air flight from Prague to Kutaisi, Georgia and back, or other flights. The ticket price includes checked baggage weighing up to 20 kg with maximum dimensions 149 x 119 x 171 cm. Cabin baggage with max. dimensions 55 x 40 x 23 cm and weight up to 10 kg. Additional personal baggage measuring 40 x 30 x 20 cm, which must fit under the seat in front of you and can weigh a maximum of 10 kg. Check-in takes place as standard at the airport.

We are flying from Prague to the Georgian city of Kutaisi. We expect to arrive in the evening, followed by transfer to the hotel and a well-deserved sleep.
First introduction to the real Georgia. After a morning visit to the local markets in the city centre, we continue to Gelati Monastery, which was considered the cultural and religious centre of the country. Thanks to its preserved valuable frescoes, it is also a Unesco World Heritage Site. In the afternoon we will travel to the capital city of Tbilisi. On the way we stop in the town of Mtskheta, a place associated with early Christianity with an unmistakable genius of locci. The ancient capital and spiritual center of Georgia is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a tour of the city, we head towards Tbilisi, where our next accommodation awaits.
Oriental and Soviet influences with a dash of modern architecture - welcome to Tbilisi, a metropolis with a unique atmosphere. During our walking tour we will not miss the Orthodox churches, mosques and synagogues, together we will discover narrow streets, picturesque balconies and the Narikala fortress towering over the city. We will end our tour at the old sulphur baths, which were also visited by the Russian poet A. S. Pushkin.
Wine lovers, beware! The fourth day is dedicated to a trip to the Kachetia wine region, which is famous for its wines all over the world and where wine was supposedly first produced. In addition to tasting the local wine, we will also visit the landmark of the wine region - the City of Love Signaghi. From its walls, we'll see the entire fertile valley and the snowy Caucasus rising behind it. We won't miss the Bodbe Monastery, where the patron saint of Georgia, St. Nina, is buried. Afterwards, we will return to our accommodation in Tbilisi.
Today will be marked by unforgettable views. Together, we will follow the old military road to the border with Russia, which used to be its only link with the Caucasus states. Our first stop will be the magnificent Ananuri Monastery, a monument to Russian-Georgian friendship set in the rugged Caucasian landscape. Our main destination will be the Gergeti Church, one of the most photogenic places in Georgia. The iconic view of it, with the extinct Kazbeg volcano rising behind it, is breathtaking.
We're moving back to west Georgia. On the way we will visit the city of Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Those interested in a quirky experience can visit the museum dedicated to him. A pleasant stop will be the rock town of Uplistikhe. It was built 3,000 years ago and became famous as a popular caravan stop on the Silk Road. In the evening we arrive in Kutaisi.
In the morning we will go to the Martvili River Canyon. High cliffs, small and wild waterfalls, but also quiet places that you can explore on rented boats. Next, there is a sights-rich journey through the Caucasus Mountains to the region of Svaneti. Its centre is the mountainous town of Mestia, typical of its stone defensive towers. The Svans, a mountain ethnic group living in this rugged landscape, have never had it easy. Despite this, they are very friendly and hospitable, as you will see for yourself.
Free program or optional trip? You can either enjoy the eighth day on your own in the mountain town of Mestia, hike to the glacier or take a trek to the cross towering over Mestia. Another option is our facultative trip to Ushguli, the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will travel in jeeps to the village, located in the foothills of Georgia's highest mountain, Shkhara, at 2,200 metres above sea level.

Then we head to Batumi, a coastal metropolis on the Turkish border. Dubbed the "Georgian Dubai" by locals, Batumi combines a historic centre with vibrant modern architecture. Beaches with tiny pebbles offer a tempting and well-deserved rest - one you can indulge in even on your tenth day.
Today's menu - relax in the city, on the beach or an interesting optional excursion. The last day of the program can be spent walking around Batumi, relaxing on the beach or visiting the famous botanical garden on the Black Sea coast with us. The impressive 110 hectares of lush greenery is a powerful experience not only for botany lovers.
