The journey is a great event, it is stepping out of the routine and opening up to new horizons. Going on it is an opportunity to bring a fresh wind into your life. A journey can help us to bring closure to something old, and it can also reveal something we have long forgotten. In our expeditions, we tap into the full potential of such an adventure and balance the experience and our own experience. We give space to what the journey opens up in our inner world, share in a safe circle with others, and get to know the world, others, and ourselves.
Black Mountain
Black Mountain is only a few hundred kilometres away, but this distance is amply enough to put us in a completely different culture and landscape. On our expedition we will explore this Balkan country from all sides - nature, cities, culture and sea. We'll walk through national parks, sample the local cuisine, explore the cities, and relax by the sea, among other things.
...but it won't just be about traveling!
YOU INSERT YOUR OWN INTENTION/DESIRE INTO THE JOURNEY
"What do I want this journey to show me? What do I want it to support me in right now?"
This journey is also an opportunity to look at what is happening in your life right now through the perspective of the journey and gain more clarity and peace about it.
YOU WILL EXPERIENCE AUTHENTIC GROUP SHARING
The stories of others can inspire and support us, and in the same way our own story can enrich others. Throughout the journey, we will do regular sharing circles where you will have the opportunity to speak for yourself, reflect on your purpose, share your experiences and feelings, listen to others and it is perfectly okay not to speak. Sharing is key to our journey. It is also through them that important realizations can come to you, from which courage and great changes are then born.
You will make time for YOU
Tuning yourself, letting your thoughts and plans sit and generally nourishing yourself well with time for yourself is an important part of our journey. We give ourselves time to settle into new places and within ourselves, to slow down, reflect or just be.
You'll hit the road with 9PLACE DELIVERY
We have over 2000 kilometres to cover, most of which is round trip. Then the crossings in Bosnia are relatively short. We will be driving a 9-seater VW T5 Caravelle.
... all this under the guidance of experienced guide and founder of the Wandering (Self-discovery through travel) Ondrej Šperka.

We will meet at 9:00 am in Brno and after a common introduction and first sharing we will head east. The car journey to Montenegro takes approximately 12 hours, so we will split it. On this day we will drive approximately 9.5 hours to Serbia, where we will stay overnight at the agreed accommodation at Lake Zlatarski - it is a beautiful place and one of the landmarks of Serbia.
Meeting place
In the morning we can take a swim in the lake and then we will go to Montenegro. It's a short drive to the border and we head straight for Biogradske Gory, the oldest national park in Europe (and the 2nd oldest in the world). We'll walk around a glacial lake surrounded by impressive scenery. Here we will encounter the original, largely untouched forests. Some of the trees are more than 400 years old.
In the afternoon we will drive to the town of Zabljak, where we have arranged accommodation. On the way we will admire the impressive Tara River and stop at an important monument. The Djurdjevic Bridge, besides being an architectural gem, will offer us a view of the deepest canyon in Europe - the Tara River Canyon.

Wake up at the accommodation in the town of Zabljak, located in the Durmitor National Park. Today we are going to take a trip into the mountains. We have 2 options. The first is a more leisurely walk (with hardly any elevation gain) in which we will go to Lake Zminje and then around Black Lake. Or a more challenging 8km hike with an elevation gain of about 800m to the summit of Malý Medvěd (2217m). Depending on our physical abilities we will decide on the spot which option appeals to us more.
In the afternoon, we will cross to a beautiful spot on the Zeta River, where we will spend the night in tents.

In the afternoon we will drive to one of the cultural landmarks in Montenegro - the Ostrog Monastery. This is a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church, which is set into the rock and has become an important pilgrimage site. We then drive to Lake Skadar - a karst lake on the border of Montenegro and Albania. Here we can taste the local specialty - Skadar carp, as well as the famous Montenegrin wines (especially the famous Vranac and Krstač).
We'll stop in the impressive fishing village of Virpazar in the afternoon and then head to today's campsite, which is located in an olive grove (or paradise?) by the Orahovstica River, where there is also a wonderful swimming spot.

In the morning we will stop in Cetinje, the former capital of the Principality and Kingdom of Montenegro. It is a beautiful place with lots of historical references. We'll give ourselves plenty of time to explore each as we need to. Then we'll head to the Lovćen Mountains, which also offer views of the Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska) and the Adriatic coast.
In the afternoon, we have no choice but to move on to the impressive seaside town of Kotor. It is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in south-eastern Europe, with a wealth of historic buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will enjoy the evening atmosphere of this breathtaking seaside town and stay overnight at the agreed accommodation.

On Saturday morning we'll have a rest time. Whoever wants to, can walk around Kotor, swim in the sea or anything else :-) Around noon we will be heading west. Probably we will go through Bosnia and Herzegovina and sleep in tents somewhere so that the next day we will have about 5-6 hours drive to Ceska.

We plan to arrive in the Czech Republic around noon.
