Due to recent road development, it is now easily accessible and has quickly become increasingly popular with visitors. Despite the weekend crowds, it is a wonderful place to relax.
The place is safe for swimming, has convenient access to the ocean, a clean bottom and at low tide the shoreline is very shallow. The water is crystal clear and big waves are rare on this beach.

From the plane, you can see the magnificent statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana rising from the hills of the Bukit Peninsula. The towering statue is Bali's most iconic landmark and depicts the Hindu god Wisnu perched on the mythical eagle Garuda. GWK towers to a height of 121 metres with a wingspan of 65 metres, making it up to 30 metres taller than the Statue of Liberty or Christ the Saviour.
The statue is located in a 60ha park that is still being landscaped and new attractions are added every year.

After sunset, enjoy a theatrical performance of Kecak. This Balinese dance combined with singing is something you should definitely experience in Bali. Kecak Fire Dance has its home stage in Uluwatu. It is also performed in other places, but here it is performed by the best!
A group of 50 to 100 men dressed only in black and white sarongs move monotonously to the rhythm while singing "cak cak". Each singer, however, has a different rhythm and key, so that together it seems very harmonious.

Melasti Beach (Pantai Melasti) is often described as one of the best beaches in the southern part of Bali and rightly so! It is a wide and spacious white sand beach hidden under a large limestone cliff, which until recently was being mined.
That's why this beach was once very difficult to access, contributing to it being one of Bali's hidden beaches.
Due to recent road development, it is now easily accessible and has quickly become increasingly popular with visitors. Despite the weekend crowds, it is a wonderful place to relax.
The place is safe for swimming, has convenient access to the ocean, a clean bottom and at low tide the shoreline is very shallow. The water is crystal clear and big waves are rare on this beach.
It's up to you whether you pay for a sunbed on the beach (about IDR 100,000) or a beach club membership.

Tegenungan is one of the most visited waterfalls in Bali. Although a short drive from Ubud, it is set in the jungle and surrounded by wildlife. There is a steep descent down a flight of stairs to the waterfall, but it is not dangerous and even children can manage it. Just be careful of the slippery rocks. There are many photogenic spots along the way for unforgettable memories.
After the descent and ascent, we will reward ourselves with a drink on the terrace with a view.
