In Seoul, you can get around efficiently using the city's extensive subway and bus network. Taxi services are convenient for less accessible locations. Most public transport does not accept direct debit or credit card payments, and a T-money or perhaps Cashbee card is required to pay on transport. Cards can easily be purchased and reloaded at metro stations. I highly recommend downloading some kind of app for getting around before your trip to make your life easier, since Google Maps doesn't work here: Naver Map, which works pretty much like a second Google Maps, but with accurate traffic and bus information. They also have an N-Order feature where you can pre-order food and drink at a restaurant/bar and just pick it up on the spot. However, this feature is entirely in Korean, so I recommend using a second phone for translation. Another very important app, for subway travel, is Metroid HD (/KakaoMetro). The advantage is that it works even without internet.
Food
In South Korea, you can eat cheap street food at markets or traditional restaurants. To save costs, you can also shop at supermarkets and prepare simple meals yourself. For 10 days, a food budget can range between approximately KRW 200,000 - 300,000 per person, depending on your eating preferences and habits.

Transport
In Seoul, you can get around efficiently using the city's extensive subway and bus network. Taxi services are convenient for less accessible locations. Most public transport does not accept direct debit or credit card payments, and a T-money or perhaps Cashbee card is required to pay on transport. Cards can easily be purchased and reloaded at metro stations. I highly recommend downloading some kind of app for getting around before your trip to make your life easier, since Google Maps doesn't work here: Naver Map, which works pretty much like a second Google Maps, but with accurate traffic and bus information. They also have an N-Order feature where you can pre-order food and drink at a restaurant/bar and just pick it up on the spot. However, this feature is entirely in Korean, so I recommend using a second phone for translation. Another very important app, for subway travel, is Metroid HD (/KakaoMetro). The advantage is that it works even without internet.
Food
In South Korea, you can eat cheap street food at markets or traditional restaurants. To save costs, you can also shop at supermarkets and prepare simple meals yourself. For 10 days, a food budget can range between approximately KRW 200,000 - 300,000 per person, depending on your eating preferences and habits.
Money
