But first, it's time to settle in and relax in Selfoss!

Stop by the Golden Circle! Your first stop is Thingvellir National Park, where you have the unique opportunity to see the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates parting to form the fascinating, jagged Almannagjá Gorge - truly breathtaking! And that's not all, because the Öxarárfoss waterfall will instantly enchant you here.

Next stop is the geysers in the Haukadalur area. Strokkur, Stóri and Great Geysir shoot hot water several meters high, a sight not to be missed - it's almost like magic when the water suddenly explodes into the sky!

Your next destination is the iconic Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most impressive waterfalls. The roar of its massive streams is like a natural orchestra that accompanies you the whole way.

What about Seljalandsfoss? This 60-metre high waterfall invites you to join the adventure - you can even walk behind a curtain of water! But be careful, the path can be slippery. Think it can't get any better? Wrong! Skogafoss brings another dose of magic - when the sun shines at the right angle, two rainbows appear, turning the waterfall into a scene straight out of a movie.

The majestic Vestrahorn on the Stokksnes peninsula welcomes you with a dramatic panorama that directly invites you to take pictures (entrance fee paid on site). At the right tide, the mountains are beautifully mirrored in the stagnant waters of the lagoon, resulting in postcard-perfect images. Every view of the Vestrahorn is like a painter's canvas, and your camera will find it hard to stop.

From here we head into the eastern fjords. Driving along the Ringstrasse offers a steady supply of breathtaking scenery - dramatic mountain peaks, unique rock formations, all often just a short drive from the seashore. Along the way, you'll often spot sheep and the occasional wild reindeer moving freely across the hills in the distance. In this quiet corner of Iceland, you are alone with nature and your car, stopping again and again to capture the beauty of your surroundings.

A stop in the fishing village of Djúpivogur will give you a moment of relaxation. Stroll past the picturesque houses and let the fresh sea breeze refresh you. With every kilometre north, the landscape becomes wilder and more secluded, giving you a feeling of absolute blending with nature.

Today's programme belongs to the Icelandic "diamonds"! Your journey through the lower part of the Diamond Circle will reveal breathtaking natural wonders. First you will visit Dettifoss - a waterfall so untamed and powerful that it surpasses all expectations. The mighty torrents of water cascade over the basalt cliff from a height of more than 100 metres and their roar will almost deafen you. No wonder Dettifoss is considered the most powerful waterfall in Europe.

Next, you'll experience the hot world of the geothermal area of Námafjall. Bubbling mud pots and rising clouds of steam create a magical landscape where you are almost unsure how close you are to the boiling depths of the earth. Near the Krafla volcanic system, you feel like you're walking on another planet - but thanks to well-marked trails, you can enjoy this otherworldly beauty in complete safety.

Then the scenery changes at Lake Myvatn, where you'll be greeted by abundant life and fertile wetlands. The best view of the area is offered by the rim of Hverfjall Crater, where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of green plains and calm waters.

At the end of the day, you will find Goðafoss, the "Waterfall of the Gods", which is as breathtaking as its name.

After a day of adventure, you'll be greeted by the peaceful atmosphere of Eyjafjörður Fjord and the charming town of Akureyri, where you can relax and recharge your batteries.

Get out of bed and hit the road - the West Coast awaits! One moment you're smiling at the hearts at traffic lights in Akureyri during the red phase, and the next you're hurtling through the Öxnadalur valley, surrounded by wild mountains. And that's when it dawns on you: the journey is the destination! Cars rarely pass here and you feel as if time has stopped. Are there wild horses in the distance? It's possible! Your route takes you through Skagafjördur, one of the most famous horse breeding areas in Iceland. Solitude has never been more beautiful!

The extinct Grábrók volcano invites you to the rim of its crater and shows you how lava flowed through the valley more than 10,000 years ago - a force of nature that won't leave you cold! Can't get enough of Iceland's incredible beauty? Make a stop at Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls! Hraunfossar consists of several small waterfalls that flow over a lava field into a river, while Barnafoss falls through cascades into a small gorge.

Are you ready for the last leg of your journey? Step on the gas and head to Reykjavik. Take advantage of the last moments of peace and isolation in the unspoilt Icelandic countryside. A stop in Akranes is inevitable! This picturesque harbour town will charm you with its beautiful old wooden houses and is easy to get to. The two lighthouses located here are perfect subjects for your photo! After a short refreshment with a hot drink, you get back in the car and head to the capital. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
