When traveling to Geiranger, the fastest way is to go through the fjord by boat, but be aware - there is no regular ferry here, like on other fjords, where the price for a campervan is around 100-200 NOK, but a cruise ship, which costs around 5,000 CZK. The fjord can be bypassed, but you will spend significantly more time doing so. At the same time, if you don't mind splashing out a bit on the boat, the views along the way are definitely worth it.
