The adventure awaits

May - November 2025(18 days)
May - November 2025(18 days)

Japan is often referred to as the Land of the Rising Sun due to its location in the Far East. How about watching the sunrise (or maybe even the sunset) from one of the mountain peaks, shrines, or mysterious temples that this country overflows with, many of which are located right in the middle of a bustling and modern metropolis with futuristic and neon-lit skyscrapers? In these temples, time seems to stand still, and even the usually rushing inhabitants of the pulsating metropolises slow down and enjoy their prayers.

Follow in the footsteps of Hiroshima's sad history, only to board a ferry the next day towards a sacred island, where a partially submerged sacred torii gate will greet you from afar during high tide.

Enjoy the friendliness and cute playfulness of the locals strolling in anime costumes in the vibrant neighborhoods and play pachinko with them. And don't forget to reward yourself every day with one of the many delicacies that Japanese cuisine offers, whether in the local vibrant markets or in one of the cozy bistros. Everyone will simply fall in love with Japan!

Your varied and eventful holiday is over and there is room for a brief recap as you go through airport procedures and the long flight. I think that by visiting and experiencing this lovely country with its wonderful, humble and hardworking people, every visitor will confirm the reputation this country carries in the world. The extreme organization, discipline and overall maturity of the country is blatantly obvious and people from western countries should take a cue from it.

For the tourist, this is an absolutely ideal country - there is a wide range of attractions and opportunities for all types of travellers. Lovers of Japanese culture in the form of anime, manga comics, etc. will be in for a treat. Spirituality enthusiasts will appreciate the numerous temples and shrines with amazing atmosphere and tranquility, even though many of them are literally under skyscrapers. Athletes and peak hunters will enjoy climbing Fuji, Aso or other mountainous and volcanic areas.

Add to all this a delicious and varied (and also cheap) cuisine, extremely good and reliable transport, unusual cleanliness (although you won't come across a rubbish bin in public), safety and overall clarity and organisation, and Japan emerges as a destination suitable for all possible ages and types.

I highly recommend everyone to visit this country!!!
