This trip is designed for those who reject boredom on a beach lounger and seek real adventure in the heart of the Indian Ocean. You can look forward to actively discovering underwater life and unspoiled nature in its purest form, far from artificial tourist resorts. Every day brings new challenges and an escape from everyday routine into a world of wild vegetation and sandy beaches.
The central part of the program consists of an intensive exploration of the underwater world and ecosystem, which is one of the richest on the planet. You can look forward to close encounters with marine creatures, observing sharks, rays and turtles in their natural environment, and discovering hidden shipwrecks and coral reefs. This trip is not just a vacation, but a concentrated journey full of experiences below and above the surface, intended for anyone who wants to truly experience the Maldives, not just "visit" them.
Excursions are not included in the price of the trip! You can buy them on the spot.
Arrival and rest day. After a long journey, you will head to your accommodation, relax, and later you can explore the island or go to the beach.
Upon arrival in the Maldives, you will go through immigration, where you will be asked basic questions - where you are staying and how many days you are staying. After passing through the control, you will go to the arrival hall, where you tell one of the employees (they are on every corner) that you are going to Maafushi, they will direct you. Before arrival (preferably a day or two in advance), it is necessary to fill out the arrival form!

For the transfer from the airport, you can use a shared speedboat (the price may vary between companies). Book via WhatsApp (iCom can be booked via website):

Maafushi, nicknamed the heart of the Maldives, is a local island located in Kaafu Atoll, south of the capital city of Malé. It is popular for its wide range of water sports, snorkeling and affordable diving. The island offers an authentic atmosphere where modern guesthouses blend with the traditional life of the locals in the heart of the turquoise atoll.
Kaani Beach Program:
For the current program on Maafushi Island, you can follow instagram @maafushitourism

Bikini Beach is the only place on the island designated for swimwear. You can only move around the island in clothing. At the entrance to the beach, say that you want a sunbed, and they will prepare it for you. If you order a drink, they won't charge you for the sunbed.

All the excursions and activities on the island recommended in this itinerary are provided by Ocean Manta Maldives, a local operator with a Czech and English-speaking assistant, who will help you arrange everything, and that's me! To book individual excursions and arrange activities, contact us on Whatsapp, Instagram or Facebook. We will ensure the smooth running of all adventures under the surface and on the island.
Contact on WhatsApp: + 960 955 3360 - you will communicate directly with me
PS: The excursion schedule may change depending on the available excursions on the individual days of the itinerary.

If you're on vacation with kids, this will be your favorite place on the island. It's a large playground (not just for kids) where you'll find slides, swings, climbing frames, as well as a skate park and gym. There is also a children's pool and a local beach, you can swim here, but only in long-sleeved swimwear and longer shorts, bikinis are prohibited here! You can take a walk through the park to the north, where a path leads to the bikini beach. There is a beautiful view of the sunset from here (around 6:00 p.m.)

A swimsuit paradise for every woman! In this popular little shop, you'll find gorgeous swimsuits that not only look chic underwater and in photos but also protect you from high UV radiation. No China here, but swimsuits designed in Ibiza and handmade in Sri Lanka, with love for the ocean.

Hiyala is one of the best restaurants on the island, a great place for dinner. It offers a wide range of international cuisines in a pleasant setting. I recommend trying the butter chicken or seafood.

You'll head out on the "Kaafu" trip. A day full of snorkeling, exploring, and visiting a local island awaits you. After the trip, you'll enjoy a well-deserved rest and a delicious dinner.
Head south from Maafushi Island, where you'll experience an intense encounter with ocean fauna, led by sea turtles and colorful coral gardens. Your program combines active snorkeling in rich ecosystems with a visit to the local island of Guraidhoo, where you'll enjoy lunch and relax on the local beach. It also includes videos and photos to capture your unique moments underwater.

Guraidhoo is a local island that, despite growing traveler interest, retains its peaceful and traditional Maldivian character. It is particularly famous as a center of craftsmanship, where you can observe the construction of typical wooden dhoni boats.

Island Catch is a local restaurant where they have great food at reasonable prices. Avoid the seafood here and rather try the local dish kothu roshi, they have the best on the whole island.

One of the most popular trips, for sharks. You can look forward to snorkeling, drone shots, and a visit to the sandbank. After dinner, you can head out for fun on a party boat.
You have a choice of two trips - Sharks or Full Day Trip. Both trips are basically the same, the Full Day trip also includes snorkeling at a shipwreck.
You will travel south to Vaavu Atoll. This Atoll is known for its shark point, a place where nurse sharks congregate. This will be your first stop. Upon arrival, drone videos are taken first, and then you go into the water with the sharks to film underwater videos one by one. If you already have your footage, you can freely snorkel near the sharks. Your next stop is a sandbank, a sandy island that rises above the ocean surface. At this location, you will encounter rays, with whom you can take photos or film a drone shot. There is also the possibility of filming a drone shot of walking on the sandy spit. After filming and capturing moments, lunch awaits you.
If you choose the Full Day Trip, you will also visit a shipwreck and discover its hidden secrets.

Caviar is a popular spot with a pleasant atmosphere. There's often live music in the evening. They have great meat dishes (e.g. devoli chicken) and pasta.

The party boat is the only place on Maafushi (or near Maafushi) where you can consume alcohol. Alcohol consumption directly on the island is strictly prohibited, and you won't find it anywhere here. The boat opens at 7:00 PM, but it usually gets going around 10:00 PM, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, closing at 2:00 AM.
The spot in the harbor where they'll take you to the party boat. There's always someone standing there, just say you want to go to the party boat.

Take a peek at the "catalog" Maldives and go for a full-day visit to the resort. Relaxation, sipping drinks at the bar, and exploring the island await you.
Experience true Maldivian luxury with access to infinity pools and bars with unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during a full-day all-inclusive visit to the Sun Siyam Olhuveli resort. Enjoy a rich buffet lunch in one of the top-class restaurants. You can walk along the wooden piers near the water villas and take lots of photos. Spend your afternoon relaxing on the beaches or swimming in the crystal lagoon that surrounds this vast area.

You can end the evening with a hookah at Moonlight. It's a chill place with a pleasant evening atmosphere, and there's usually a DJ on weekends. They have excellent food and snacks.

You will enjoy swimming in a "natural aquarium", snorkeling, and visiting the local island of Gulhi. In the evening, you'll take a walk to the neighboring island of Mantafushi and watch the sunset. For dinner, you will visit a place with the best fish on the island.
Fishtank is one of the best excursions for underwater shots. It's like swimming in an aquarium with stingrays and millions of colorful little fish. This place is located near the capital city of Malé. Upon arrival, you immediately jump into the water and start filming underwater shots. Once you have your shots, you can enjoy snorkeling and observing the wildlife, schools of fish, and the coral reef. Afterward, you'll head to the local island of Gulhi, where you'll have lunch and relax on the bikini beach. Then you'll return to Maafushi.

Today, you'll embark on a quest to find whale sharks and manta rays. You can expect swimming, snorkeling, and exploring a deserted tropical island. After returning from the trip, you can enjoy a massage and go for a delicious dinner.
The whaleshark trip is more demanding and we recommend it for good swimmers. The location where whalesharks and mantas are searched for is called South Ari Marine Protected Area (SAMPA), which is about 1.5 hours from Maafushi. It is possible to find them right away, but it may take some time. The search is done using a drone and current information is also shared to Telegram groups. When you find a whaleshark or manta, you jump into the water and swim with them. All important safety instructions will be given to you. Around 13:00 you will move to a deserted island where you will have lunch and have time to relax on the beach.

Treat yourself to a well-deserved relaxation after a challenging trip in the form of a massage at the local relaxation center. We recommend a full body Balinese massage.

You can enjoy today as you wish. You can try scuba diving, water sports, or get a last tan on the bikini beach.
If you don't have a license, you can try the so-called "Discover scuba diving", which is designed for complete beginners. An instructor will be with you at all times, so you don't have to worry about anything or be afraid of anything. You will go to a maximum "safe" depth of 10m. You can look forward to observing the coral reef and marine animals.

Water sports are an integral part of visiting the Maldives! Experience adrenaline on the water like never before - parasailing, jetskiing, windsurfing and more.

DUSK is a new restaurant and a peaceful place to spend the evening. They have a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices. You can also book karaoke and have some fun. Contact: +960 989-3331

Packing your bags and saying goodbye to the island. If you have time before your flight, you can head out for some last-minute souvenir or food shopping before the trip.
