Our way to Slovenia. We tried to plan our trip so that it would not be difficult for our 2,5 year old child and we did not have to fly back and forth through Slovenia unnecessarily. Everything is a short distance from each other. Who has more time can go to the Slovenian sea or even north to the mountain villages.
The starting point of our expedition is Brno.
In the morning, we were pretty stuck at work and so we get out of the city only around 2 pm and it's noticeable, right from the start we have a slip :D
Cars can be parked here for free and without problems under the hill. It's quite a steep hill, but the view is really worth it. There's also a forest bar with beer and lemonade just below the top, so be sure to bring some euros!
Super facilities, for motorhomes and vans only, it's free. Shower, electricity, etc. for an extra charge. All paid for in coins (no service/staff)
We had a lot of trouble parking here. Right at the entrance to the gorge they wouldn't let us park, they said we had a camper and they couldn't park there or something.... So we ended up parking here at the cemetery. Just here please count on the fact that to the entrance to the gorge (it is one-way) it will take you 1,5-2 hours, but then again you have compared to those who parked at the entrance a short walk to the car :)
Expensive but convenient parking. 150L of water, electricity and 24h parking included, so we left the camper standing there and went to the lake the next day.
Since the parking was not the cheapest and was for 24 hours, we left it in an overnight spot. It's a 15 minute drive to the lake so we didn't have to pay another parking fee anywhere. We are under no illusion that it would be free anywhere around the lake :D
Beautiful lake for a walk, the rain was quite windy, but we had a nice time here and got our feet wet. We also recommend the viewpoint about 200m from Kamzik on the rock.
20E per night or 15E for multiple nights. Electricity included. At the train station, grey water and toilets can be drained and water can be flushed. All free of charge outside the parking space.
The most beautiful Slovenian waterfall, don't miss it :)
A nice and well-groomed glacial lake. A walk here takes about an hour.
Our sweetheart, the park is just a short drive away so if you're passing by, be sure to pop in for a peek :)
There is normally a charge, but as we are here during the week and the road and surrounding areas are being reconstructed, they say it's free :))
These two Italian lakes are a walk for half a day or a day. It's beautiful here so you don't have to worry about it being wasted time :)
Small but magical place. You are not allowed to swim here (which you could 6 years ago), but the beauty is just worth a visit.
Caravan 15Eur / night , Caravan or smaller cars 3,5Eur / night, electricity, water, grey water and toilet can be drained.
On the last day we went in the direction of Brno, but if you don't have a small baby we recommend you to visit something else. Unfortunately with a baby it is far to Brno and we have to take breaks :)
