The most popular tourist destination near Muzië is the Blue Eye spring, or Syri i Kaltër – not to be confused with the one in Theth, there are officially two Blue Eyes in Albania!
The blue water of the river is part of the Blue Eye nature reserve and is over 164 feet / 50 m deep. It's about an hour's walk to the Blue Eye car park and back, so allow at least two or more hours for the hike and time spent at the spring.

Park your car at the paid Gjipe Beach Parking lot (fee is around 300-500 lek on-site, cash only). Cars can't reach the beach itself. The rest of the way (about 2.5 km, with an elevation gain of around 120 m) is only via a dirt hiking trail down the canyon; expect the hike back up to take about 30-40 minutes in the sun with no shade. Bring sturdy shoes and plenty of water. If you don't want to hike, you can arrange a boat trip from Dhërmi, Vuno, or Himarë directly to the beach during the season.

We are in for a breathtaking cruise across Lake Komani, which ranks among the most attractive places in Albania. The sheer rock walls towering above the surface resemble Norwegian fjords, while the crystal-clear water feels like Thailand. The romantic atmosphere of the cruise is enhanced by the fact that the surroundings are almost uninhabited. We will enjoy the wild beauty of Albanian nature, this time from the comfort of a boat.
In the morning, we will arrive at the village of Koman, from where ferries across the lake depart - tickets can be purchased online (if you would prefer a shorter cruise, those are also available). The cruise itself takes approximately 2.5 hours and will take us through narrow waterways between steep cliffs and green slopes.
After arriving in Fierza, we'll have a short rest before heading back the same way. This full-day trip offers not only unforgettable views but also the peace and quiet that prevail here thanks to minimal human intervention in the surrounding landscape.
