Don't expect luxury hotels or lots of days doing nothing on the beach. Expect a lot of action and even a little bit of the pure dirt. You'll be glad if you can find a moment to post photos, because you can relax and mobilize at home. But there will be time to chat with warm Mexicans over a glass of tequila.
I would also like to show you the numerous local volcanoes reaching up to 5636 m, caves, unspoilt nature, cultural monuments and of course give you a well-deserved rest in the healing thermal baths and on the sandy beaches with warm sea. If you're a fan of action-packed trips, you've come across the right adventure guide and now all you have to do is pack up and come.
Fly to Mexico City, pick up at the airport, transfer by metro (30 min) to the bus station and from there by bus (total 120 km, 3 hours) to Cholula. Accommodation in hotel, rest (acclimatization). In the evening, dinner together, meeting with the guide and the itinerary for the next day.
After breakfast, we will visit downtown Cholula and walk to the Catholic temple called El Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, which is built on top of the Great Pyramid. As the temple is a direct part of the pyramid, you will have the opportunity to see not only the temple but also the pyramid from the inside, at the same time there are also archaeological excavations to see. In case of good weather it is possible to see el Popo (the most active volcano of Popocatepetl). In the afternoon, transfer by car (15 km, 30 min) to the city of Puebla, where we will visit the cathedral in the city centre, walk through the historic centre and have the opportunity to descend into the Cuexcomate volcano.

Puebla will enchant you with its splendour in the form of New Spanish art in all its glory. Pre-Hispanic Cholula was a large metropolis that was inhabited for thousands of years. It is therefore one of the oldest cities in Central America.
This town, though small in size, is exceptional for its number of churches. There are 37 churches in total, so it is very easy to stumble upon one of them.
The aforementioned Puebla is a city in east-central Mexico, southeast of Mexico City. It is known for its culinary history, colonial architecture, and ceramics. Painted local pottery, called Talavera, can be seen on several buildings that are decorated with this pottery. There is also a Renaissance cathedral, which has tall bell towers and stands in front of the central Zócalo square. Also worth mentioning is the Museo Amparo, which offers extensive displays of pre-Hispanic art, such as ceramics and fragments of murals.
The smallest volcano in the world is a curiosity that the state of Puebla offers us in the colony of Libertad in its capital city. The name "Cuexcomate" comes from the Nahuatl word "cuexcomatl" and translates to "clay pot" or "place to keep."
Cuexcomate was formed by the eruption of sulphurous water as a result of the eruption of the Popocatepetl volcano in 1064. Access to the interior of the volcano is permitted.According to legend, the volcano Popocatepetl had a love affair with its companion, the volcano Iztaccihuatl, and from these trysts the small volcano Cuexcomate was born.

At 4,420 metres above sea level, La Malintzin is Mexico's sixth highest mountain and inspires travelers to climb its (sometimes snow-capped) peak and hike as well.
In the Puebla-Tlaxcala Valley, which borders Malinche to the southwest, La Malinche National Park was created in 1938 and has become a refuge for several local species of hares, lynx and others.
The town of Perote is located in the western region of the state, on the Mexican plateau, on the slopes of Cofre de Perote. Cofre de Perote is an inactive volcano that is part of the Sierra Madre Oriental mountain range, with an elevation of 4,282 metres above sea level.

In the morning we will go on a day trip to Cofre de Perote, the length of the climb is about 13 km, elevation gain about 1150m, the summit of Cofre de Perote is located at 4282 m.a.s.l. According to the agreement of all participants it is possible to shorten the climb (10 km by car and 2 km on foot). Return in the afternoon, late lunch or early dinner, rest in the evening. We will spend the night in the same place as the night before.

Cerro de los Metates is located in the so-called Faja de Totonacapan, which is bounded by the Nautla River to the north and the Actopan River to the south.

We have to walk 1 km before we reach the Popocatl cellar, and the impressive sound of the waterfall will alert you that we are there. With a diameter of 45 metres and a depth of 60 metres, you will be greeted by the mouth of the Coatl River, which forms the waterfall.
In order to descend, you must freefall down a rope that takes you to the bottom of the vault, where there is an underground lake fed by the waterfall as well as a 150 metre long cave.

In order to descend, you must freefall down a rope that takes you to the bottom of the vault, where there is an underground lake fed by the waterfall as well as a 150 metre long cave.

I would also like to show you the numerous local volcanoes reaching up to 5636 m, caves, unspoilt nature, cultural monuments and of course give you a well-deserved rest in the healing thermal baths and on the sandy beaches with warm sea. Quiahuiztlán is an archaeological zone and ancient Totonac city in the state of Veracruz, Mexico, and is located on Cerro de los Metates (also called Cerro Bernal), so called because many small buried metates (stone tools) have been found there. Cerro de los Metates is located in the so-called Faja de Totonacapan, which is bounded by the Nautla River to the north and the Actopan River to the south.

We have to walk 1 km before we reach the Popocatl cellar, and the impressive sound of the waterfall will alert you that we are there. With a diameter of 45 metres and a depth of 60 metres, you will be greeted by the mouth of the Coatl River, which forms the waterfall.

Sierra Negra is a volcano located in the Mexican state of Puebla, near the state border with Veracruz.
