And now for a bit of a challenge: a descent awaits you down over 650 steps carved into the limestone cliffs, leading you to Neptune's Grotto. But beware, entry isn't a given! The sea god might put you to the test. Waves relentlessly crash against the cave entrance, so you'll have to wait for the right moment to get inside without getting your feet wet. The suspense is worth it, as you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of stunning stalactite formations (entry optional, admission fee payable on site).

After returning to your accommodation, your body and mind deserve rest after this adventurous day. During an evening stroll through the city, soak up the medieval atmosphere full of castles and monasteries, while your camera fills up with one beautiful shot after another. And the goal of the evening? Of course, a rustic Italian restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food and end the day in perfect style.

You feel the wind in your hair again as you take the ferry back to Sardinia. Before you know it, you're back in your rental car, entering your destination into the navigation: C-A-G-L-I-A-R-I. Finally, you can't wait to explore Sardinia's colorful capital! Colorful in the truest sense of the word! The houses in the typical Mediterranean style shine towards you in all the colors of the rainbow as you approach the city. Whether you are looking for good food, culture, relaxation or shopping, you will find everything in Cagliari. You will feel the Sardinian joy of life in the winding streets of the city, taste real Italian pizza in a small trattoria where you will be immediately addressed as "tu", or try to take a photo of yourself with the imposing Castello castle or the Elephant Tower. And in the evening a special experience awaits you: the legendary Sella del Diavolo rock on Poetto beach, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunset!

Today is the day: your last day in Sardinia begins. And it needs to be taken advantage of! Depending on when your plane leaves, enjoy the dolce vita in Cagliari one more time. Stroll through the San Benedetto market, taste local specialties such as cheeses, seafood, or fresh fruit, and buy culinary souvenirs for your loved ones.
