After arrival, you will pick up the car (according to the instructions you received before departure), and then you will just go to check in and relax before a busy road trip.

On the first day, you'll head to the place that LA is famous for - Hollywood. You'll walk along the Walk of Fame, head to the Hollywood Hills, where you'll get within reach of the HOLLYWOOD sign, or enjoy views of the entire LA with the sunset from the Griffith Observatory.

We found parking directly in the parking garage at the Dolby Theatre - right in the heart of Hollywood - to be the most convenient.

In the evening, you can park directly at the observatory.

The main highlight of the day is the legendary Warner Bros. Studio Tour - you'll walk through real filming locations, sets of TV series and movies, and peek behind the scenes of Hollywood, which is a truly top experience. Then, you'll briefly fly through Downtown Los Angeles and head past the iconic LA Memorial Coliseum to Mulholland Scenic Overlook, where a beautiful sunset panorama awaits you.

You'll visit the legendary Venice Beach and the well-known Santa Monica Pier. You'll also stroll along the coast, where you can visit interesting shops or stylish cafes and restaurants.

In the afternoon, add contrast with the luxurious Rodeo Drive and end the day at the wild and photogenic El Matador State Beach at sunset over the Pacific Ocean. 

You can freely swap the visit to Venice Beach and Santa Monica with another day depending on the weather (if you want to swim in the ocean, for example).

An iconic drive along the Pacific Coast Highway around Malibu awaits you, with ocean views that will make you want to stop every few kilometers. Via stylish Santa Barbara, you'll arrive in Monterey – an ideal place for an evening stroll by the sea and a well-deserved chill after the journey.

The morning starts at Otter Point in Monterey, from where you'll connect to a breathtaking stretch through Big Sur full of cliffs, bridges, and emerald ocean. After crossing into San Francisco, the iconic view from Twin Peaks awaits you in the evening, overlooking the entire illuminated city.

You'll stroll past the famous Painted Ladies, ride the iconic hills on the California Street and Powell Street lines, soak up the atmosphere in colorful Chinatown, and stop by the sea lions at Pier 39. The highlight of the day is, of course, the majestic Golden Gate Bridge - whether by car across the bridge or from one of the viewpoints.

You will venture into the breathtaking Yosemite National Park, where you will find monumental sequoias, the iconic view from Tunnel View, and the legendary granite monolith El Capitan. You will end the day at the turquoise Tenaya Lake and in the vast mountain meadows of Tuolumne Meadows, where you feel like you have entered another world.

On the way back to Los Angeles, you'll drive through the dramatic landscape of Red Rock Canyon State Park, full of red rocks and desert views. The afternoon is then dedicated to relaxing on Santa Monica Beach and a symbolic end to the entire road trip in the form of dinner in downtown Santa Monica.

On the last day, just return the car to the rental company, head to the airport, and back home.
