Travel from JFK Airport to Manhattan, check-in, and rest after the journey.

General Info:

Visa: For entry into the USA, a visa is usually required (check if it applies to you). In most cases, a tourist ESTA is sufficient, which you can apply for online here.

Entrance Fees: For easier arrangement of entrance to viewpoints or museums, I highly recommend purchasing a CityPASS, which includes admission to your chosen locations. In the itinerary below, you can use the CityPASS for admission to the Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, the ferry to Liberty Island, and entrances to the 9/11 Museum and the Museum of Natural History.

Public Transport: The whole city is beautifully covered by a public transport network, and you will mainly use the subway. It would be ideal for you to purchase a Metrocard, which costs USD 34 for 7 days + a USD 1 fee for the card.

You will walk through the main shopping street and visit one of the city's greatest icons - the Empire State Building.

You will head to the southwestern part of Manhattan, starting at the newly built skyscraper district and gradually walking to the quiet residential area of the luxurious Greenwich Village, known, among other things, for its numerous jazz clubs.

You will visit several key places - the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, Ground Zero (WTC) or Times Square. I recommend leaving the crossing of the Brooklyn Bridge for the time before sunset - watching the sunset from the waterfront on the Brooklyn side is a great experience.

You'll spend a large part of your time exploring Central Park. You can take a bike ride, or even a boat if you like, and enjoy the peace and beautiful corners that this giant park offers. You'll also walk a part of 5th Avenue and enjoy the sunset with a breathtaking view from the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center.

You'll head south from the Empire State Building to the New York University campus, taste some excellent pastrami, then through SoHo to New York City Hall and on to Chinatown and Little Italy. In the evening, you'll enjoy a real American bar.

If you like shopping even a little bit, today will be your day! But not only that - you'll look to the famous Madison Square Garden arena, or the quiet Chelsea district.

New York also offers a large number of museums of all kinds. CityPASS gives you free admission to the Museum of Natural History, and on the other side of Central Park you can visit the Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art.

On the last day, you'll slow down a bit and visit Brooklyn, where you'll take a peek at the center, enjoy the waterfront views, and explore the quiet neighborhood of Williamsburg, which resembles England with its architecture.

Filled with impressions, you will depart for JFK Airport and then home.
