Your adventure in the Yucatán begins with your arrival in Cancún. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your first accommodation. Your first day is designed to allow you to relax after your long journey and begin to enjoy the atmosphere of white sandy beaches, tall palm trees and clear turquoise waters. 

On the second day you will take a ferry to one of the most beautiful islands in the area - Isla Mujeres.

You can use the afternoon for a walk on the beach (Playa Norte - this is the place to be, with its beautiful tall palm trees, white sand and turquoise sea). 

Take advantage of the evening, for example, to sample the local cuisine at one of the beach restaurants. 

The third day depends purely on your taste!
You have the option of enjoying the beautiful Caribbean location and enjoying its "vibe" with drinks on the beach or you can go snorkeling at the underwater museum MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte). 

The third day will take you to Isla Contoy, a small, uninhabited island that is a true natural paradise. This protected national park is located about 30 kilometers north of Isla Mujeres and is known for its pristine nature, rich ecosystem and incredible biodiversity.
You can look forward to a boat trip with refreshments and drinks to make the journey go faster. Lunch and time for swimming, relaxing and taking photos with starfish or stingrays await you on the island. The limited number of tourists allowed here every day makes the island a unique experience. It is only 200 people. This limit has been introduced to protect the island's ecosystem, especially to protect rare species of birds and coral reefs.
It is a true paradise on Earth.

On the fourth day you will start with a cruise back from Isla Mujeres to the mainland. You'll pick up your rental car at the airport and set off on your next adventure. Your journey today will take you to the breathtaking cenotes, natural underground lakes typical of the Yucatán.
It will be up to you how many you can and want to visit today (don't worry, they are definitely not the last on our itinerary).
In the evening you will arrive in Valladolid, a charming colonial city with a colorful history and charming architecture. You will stroll through picturesque streets that will enchant you with the atmosphere typical of Spanish colonial cities. Valladolid is a great place to dine at a local restaurant and prepare for another day of adventure.

In the morning you will go to one of the most famous and beautiful cenote - Cenote Suytun. It is recommended to arrive at this cenote at 9am, as later on there will be large crowds of tourists.

You will then make your way to the stunning pink lagoon in the Las Coloradas area. This area is famous for its pink waters, which are the result of the high concentration of salts and algae that create this unusual hue. 

On arrival, you'll have the opportunity to admire the surreal scenery of the lagoons, which look like something from another world. In addition to the colourful water, you can also enjoy the flamingos that are characteristic of the area. 

You'll start the morning discovering one of the greatest treasures of the Mayan civilization - Chichén Itzá, one of the seven modern wonders of the world. Here we recommend that you sit up and be at the pyramids right at the opening - this will give you a chance to take photos without people at the pyramids. 

After exploring Chichén Itzá, you'll head to the nearby Cenote Ik Kil, one of the most famous in the region. The open circular space, hanging lianas and clear water create the perfect place to refresh yourself.

Next, visit the lesser-known but authentic Cenote Yokdzonot, where you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere away from the tourist crowds. 

You'll end the day with a visit to Izamal, known as the "Yellow City" for its distinctive yellow buildings. 

Today will be full of adventure and discovering the hidden beauty of the Yucatán. We have reached places where prices are much lower than in more touristy places.
You will start the morning with a visit to Cenote Wolpoch, a peaceful and picturesque cenote that will enchant you with its clear water and beautiful karst formations. 

You will then make your way to the Canunchen Cenote, a lesser known but all the more fascinating cenote that will offer you another refreshing stop.

The next stop on your journey will be the ancient city of Mayapán, which was one of the last great centers of Mayan civilization. You will explore the ruins of this once mighty city, including a pyramid reminiscent of the famous Temple of Kukulkan at Chichén Itzá. 

You'll end the day with a visit to Cenote Cuychen, where you'll enjoy a last bath in a peaceful and beautiful setting. 

Today's day takes you to more fascinating Mayan sites and a beautiful colonial city on the Gulf Coast. 

You will begin the afternoon with a visit to Uxmal, one of the most important Mayan cities, famous for its iconic Pyramid of the Magician (Pirámide del Adivino) and the Palace of the Governor. 

After exploring Uxmal, you'll make your way to another stunning Mayan site - Edzná. This lesser-known but all the more impressive archaeological site boasts its Cinco Pisos (five-tiered pyramid) and a vast plaza that testifies to the great power and wealth of this once important city.

You'll end the day in the picturesque colonial city of San Francisco de Campeche, famous for its colourful houses, massive city walls and fortresses that once protected the city from pirates. 

The tenth day is dedicated to moving from the beautiful San Francisco de Campeche to the famous archaeological site of Palenque in the neighbouring state of Chiapas (prepare music or podcasts for the car and you're ready to go).

In the evening, browse the shops and markets on the streets of the city, you can also pop in for an iced margarita, they often have 1+1 happy hour cocktail events.

Today we will visit the archaeological zone in Palenque and you will see that the trip here was worth it! 

We recommend starting first thing in the morning, when you have the best chance of walking past the temples on your own while the mist is still rising. Surrounded by lush jungle that completes the mystical atmosphere of the place, you will feel like you have stepped back in time. In fact, unlike all other monuments and sites, Palenque is located deep in the jungle (and in the hills).
After exploring Palenque, you'll head to Agua Azul Falls, one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in all of Mexico. These cascading waterfalls, with turquoise water flowing over limestone terraces, create mesmerizing scenery. 

Today will again be a bit of a transit day, but at the end of the day you will be exploring another archaeological zone, this time Balamkú. 

Today you will find 3 archaeological sites. 

The first destination will be Calakmul, one of the largest and most powerful Mayan cities, located deep within the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve, a protected jungle full of wildlife. This city reached its peak between the 7th and 8th centuries. Here you will see the impressive pyramids that tower above the surrounding trees, and explore the palaces and temples that provide a unique insight into the life of the ancient Maya.

Next, you'll visit Becán, an archaeological site known for its unique defense system. Becán is surrounded by a moat that protected the city from attacks. Here you will walk among temples and palaces that testify to its importance in the Río Bec region.

You'll end the day with a visit to Xpujil, a smaller but no less interesting Mayan site. Xpujil is famous for its three tower temples, which are typical of the Río Bec style of architecture.
In the evening we will arrive in Bacalar.

After a few days of exploring Mayan sites, you will have a well-deserved day of rest.

You will spend the whole day in the magical Bacalar, famous for its beautiful Laguna de los Siete Colores (Lagoon of the Seven Colours). This freshwater lagoon will enchant you with its breathtaking shades of blue and turquoise water that change depending on the depth and composition of the bottom. 

For those with a taste for adventure, there is the option to book a boat cruise around the lagoon, during which you will discover the most beautiful corners of the area, including picturesque coves and other natural wonders. The cruise will allow you to better explore the lagoon and learn more about its ecosystem and history. 

The boats will take you to the most interesting places, which are: the Cenote Negro, the Cenote Esmeralda, the Canal de los Piratas and the Isla de los Pájaros.

In the afternoon, you will visit Cenote Cocalitos, a unique natural phenomenon that is a bay of the Bacalar Lagoon. There are swings and hammocks that will delight anyone looking for a place to take "net" photos.

Today's day will take you to the beautiful natural phenomenon of Los Rapidos, located near Bacalar. 

Los Rapidos is part of a lagoon with fast flowing water that flows through a narrow channel between mangroves. This area is known for its clear water and calm atmosphere, making it an ideal place for swimming and relaxing. Here you can let the water flow and enjoy the beautiful nature around you.

After a morning at Los Rapidos, you'll head to Mahahual, a picturesque seaside town on the Caribbean coast, famous for its crystal clear waters and beautiful coral reefs. Mahahual is an ideal snorkelling destination where you will have the opportunity to discover an underwater world full of colourful fish and coral.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach, where you can enjoy the tranquil setting of this Caribbean town. Finish the day at one of the beach restaurants. 

Day fifteen takes you to the ancient Mayan city of Cobá, one of the most important and extensive Mayan sites in the region. Located in the middle of the jungle, Cobá is famous for its long Mayan roads (sacbes) and the impressive Nohoch Mul pyramid, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatán Peninsula.

After exploring Cobá, head to the nearby Cenote Choo-Ha, a great place to refresh after a hot day of exploring.

Today you will start your day with a visit to the fascinating archaeological zone of Tulum, located on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. 

For the afternoon, you will move on to Akumal, a beautiful seaside town known for the opportunity to swim with turtles. Akumal, which means "place of the turtles" in Mayan, is an ideal snorkeling spot where you can swim alongside sea turtles in their natural habitat. 

In the evening you will transfer to Chiquilá from where you will take a ferry to Holbox Island.

Today you can enjoy the Caribbean paradise, white beaches, shallow warm water, just paradise on earth. The beach restaurants offer not only good food, but also drinks. 

Today you have the opportunity to take a trip to a point called Punta Mosquito in knee-deep water, but don't worry there are definitely no mosquitoes during the day, but you can enjoy the kitschily perfect Caribbean coastline. Since you're flying out tomorrow, it's time to take the ferry from Holbox back to the Yucatán.

Today we will finish our three-week adventure in Yucatan. It's time to head straight to the airport to return your rental car.
