After landing, you probably won't get a shock right away. It hits you once you reach the city center. Because here, nothing is really stressed about and there's plenty of time for everything. So, first try to let go of your daily worries. Better to be grateful for every new morning, a good coffee, and the air you breathe. If you do that and arrive in the Spanish Quarter, or Quartieri Spagnoli, or just Spagnoli, in that mood, you won't regret it. There, you can wander through typical narrow streets full of laundry lines and small cafes. From Spagnoli, head to Piazza del Plebiscito, which is the unofficial center of the city. But before that, don't forget to stop at the Palazzo Petrucci pizzeria. Then head straight to the center, ideally passing by the Gesù Nuovo church. At Piazza del Plebiscito, you'll find the famous Basilica di San Francesco di Paola, the even more famous Royal Palace, Gran Caffè Gambrinus, and just a few steps away, the shopping arcade Galleria Umberto I.

The beauty of the Amalfi Coast is sure to keep anyone planning a trip to Campania up at night. On a boat trip, you'll enjoy views of the famous Positano from the sea. In the town of Amalfi, you'll then visit the famous Duomo di Amalfi cathedral and the La Perla restaurant. You can walk off your meal on the walk to the town of Atrani, which is just a 15-minute walk from Amalfi. There, you'll climb up to the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena Penitente and enjoy an undisturbed view of the Amalfi Coast. And then it's off to Ravello, where the beautiful gardens of Villa Rufolo, views of the sea and the Lattari Mountains from the Terrace of Infinity await you, followed by a late lunch or dinner in one of the local trattorias.

Naples - as we know it today - is sometimes dirty, wild, and quirky. Long ago, however, it was a city overflowing with wealth, trade, and was also a crossroads between Asia, Europe, and Africa. During this time, palaces, churches, and other architectural gems were built here. And the National Archaeological Museum is one of them. Another gem of Naples is definitely the Capodimonte Palace, which today also serves as a museum and art gallery. Once you've had your fill and enjoyed it there, you can head towards Sant’Elmo Castle. It also stands on a hill and again offers a magnificent view of the city, the port, and the entire Bay of Naples. For lunch, head down to the promenade and take it via the luxury street Via Gaetano Filangieri. And then just a pleasant evening stroll along the Neapolitan promenade and back to your accommodation.

Once you land on the island of Emperor Tiberius, sirens, and Sophia Loren, a short funicular ride from Marina Grande to the center of the island awaits you. From there, you'll stroll through Piazza Umberto I and reach the nearby street full of luxury boutiques, Via Camerelle. Afterwards, head on foot to the Giardini di Augusto. These gardens are famous for their views of the iconic Faraglioni di Mezzo rock formations and the winding coastal path, Via Krupp. Your final stop on Capri is Villa Lysis, which was built for the poet Jacques d'Adelswärd-Fersen.

The last day should start in Italian style, which in Naples means coffee and a croissant. But before that, we'll head to the local markets. Finally, we'll head towards the Belvedere di Pizzofalcone viewpoint and the Via Toledo shopping street. Then, it's off to Capodichino airport for the flight back home. Grazie di tutto, Napoli.
