Experience the European Caribbean on a yacht! Lefkada is incredible. 7 days of sailing in the azure sea past white beaches and high cliffs await you.
Lefkada is a mountainous island full of greenery. This makes the contrast between the white sandy beaches, azure sea and high sandstone cliffs full of life. The Mediterranean is still home to indigenous life, where you'll find locals in traditional dress riding donkeys. And the beaches...
They've repeatedly topped lists of the world's most beautiful beaches. And no wonder. The sandstone here makes the sea azure clear and the sand beautifully white. Some beaches and coves are only accessible by water, so you can avoid the tourists and have the island to yourself.
You'll wake up in an azure cove and straight away cut a few temps around the boat as a warm up. After breakfast, you'll head out to set sail. Beyond each bay, breathtaking views of huge white cliffs, sandy beaches with caves and crystal clear seas await you. We'll picture the most beautiful beaches. In the afternoon, we'll explore inland. We'll rent scooters and ride through remote villages and fishing towns. In the evening, we'll choose a bay to spend the night and finish the day with a glass of local wine 🍷🌞
Loading and the first night in Azure Bay
We spend the afternoon on the beach or in the tavern and the captains discuss with the crews what they want to eat and drink. We then make a big purchase accordingly. We embark between 14:00 - 17:00, followed by safety training and planning the exact route of the cruise. We leave port between 17:00-18:00. We'll have a drink in honor of Poseidon and our first destination will be the bay and a night out of port. The first wake in the bay with azure blue water is the most! 😎
Yachters Tip: However, we recommend arriving a day early to explore Lefkada on scooters or quad bikes. Paddling through the local winding roads overlooking the azure bays... WOW!

Up to the islands and an evening at the amazing mill
After a morning swim, we head out to explore the huge cave on Meganisi Island, the cave is accessible directly from the sea and therefore offers the use of paddleboards or a boat. Once we get the crew out of the water, we pull up the sails and head straight for the mini Formikoula Archipelago where we enjoy a sunny day in a shallow, sandy bay. More adventurous natures will head out to discover the local lighthouse that towers over the island.
As the early evening approaches, we head to Kastos Island, where a lovely evening awaits. Above the bay in which we're moored is a typical Greek mill converted into a stylish bar, which directly invites you to go for a drink at sunset. Frankly, we haven't met more magical places...

A day of sailing and dinner on land in the picturesque town of Asos
After a busy evening, there's nothing like pulling up your sails in the morning and relaxing to the sound of the rocking. Those who want to hone their sailing skills work with the sails and help the skippers, those who want to go yachting, go yachting. We encounter beautiful bays, perfect for swimming, and gradually arrive in the little town of Asos, which you may well know from promotional photos of Greece. The cliffs, the colourful houses, the fortress above the town - cameras are out today. We'll finish a busy day with fresh fish for dinner 🍤

Cliffs, white beaches, azure water - there's no better way to describe it
We're heading into an area with ridiculously azure water, you've never seen this before! Dozens, maybe hundreds of metres high white cliffs tower above us and - you guessed right - long white beaches line the shores below them all. A random finger pointing decides where we anchor, there is room everywhere and beaches are countless...

Cruise to Fiskardo
In the afternoon we again enjoy the waters near the beaches, which need to be properly explored. We then swim to the town of Fiskardo or to the bays nearby. Fancy dinner in a town full of superyachts? No problem... Or do you want to sleep in the bay and wake up by jumping in the water? The choice is yours.

Lefkada and its beaches
You must have heard about the beautiful beaches of Lefkada, let's explore them. We can promise you that the beaches are dozens of kilometres long and ordinary tourists only get to a very limited number of them. So the possibilities for exploring the beaches, caves and coves are endless.

Cruise around Lefkada and return to the marina in the evening
Continuing the cruise, the beaches continue and we have a full day to enjoy them. The further north we are, the more often we also encounter beach bars. We either sail through or get sucked in by the thought of chilled cocktails. And it's unbelievable, however, we have to be somewhere on time for the first time today! The opening bridge awaits us and we expertly hit the opening bridge, sail back to Lefkas, anchor and toast to a happy cruise!

We're packing our bags! Sea ya back on the yacht, baby!
