Will you go as a couple with your love or with your family (actually alone)? You can be sure that besides the memories in your heart, you will also have memories from me in the form of a plethora of professional photographs. Among other things, I'm also a photographer and of course I bring my camera with me (everything included)!
In the early hours of the morning, we get into our beautiful partner for the following week - a 6-seater Mercedes Benz Vito, which is perfectly adapted for long journeys and set off for Switzerland.
Just outside the Swiss border, we'll find our first major site worth seeing. Europe's largest waterfalls - the Rheinefall in Schaffhausen. We will take a break here for about two hours to enjoy the power of the water and recharge our batteries for the rest of the trip.
After about 4 hours we arrive at our accommodation in a beautiful traditional Swiss chalet. :)
We leave Prague around 5:00 in the morning. If you live in Prague, we will be happy to pick you up directly at your home. :)
The Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen are a wonderful place to relax and admire the natural beauty that literally overwhelms you with its power and energy.
We will be staying in a traditional Swiss chalet in the village of Breuson (where, among other things, the world-famous Raclette cheese is made). In the chalet you will have two bedrooms with two double beds, or there is another room with a sofa bed and TV. :) There will be a bathroom with a bathtub. On the ground floor of the chalet there is a living area with a kitchen, where we will meet every morning and evening to enjoy breakfast and dinner in a purely Swiss spirit. :) For each day you will always find listed what is planned for that day's meal. :-) You can also expect packed lunches/sandwiches for the lunches we will most often spend on our travels around the country!
Breakfast: packages for the journey, or idividual stops at snack bars along the way (McDonalds)
Dinners: "Kalte Platte" or cold platter. This way you can taste the best Swiss cheeses and cold cuts with Swiss pastries as soon as you arrive, and of course a vegetable salad.
There will always be plenty of food "to nibble on" at the accommodation. Fruit, crisps, biscuits and similar snacks will be available, as will lemonades, juices and of course tap water, which is the quality of mountain springs. :)
After breakfast, we will have a beautiful but at the same time absolutely easy walk along the Bisse du Torrent irrigation canal. The specialty of this trail is the less than 10 suspension bridges of various lengths and, of course, the unforgettable panoramas. The entire trail is less than two kilometres long and follows a contour line. This will leave you with plenty of energy to enjoy the true Swiss (Wallisian) nature.
In the afternoon, we will visit another beautiful place with a bit of a Canadian vibe, the Tseuzier Dam. There is an easy trail around the whole dam. We'll walk along a wide path for a while and hear cows grazing, then cross a tiny suspension bridge, which from a certain angle can look like it's high above the dam, pass through a beautiful little forest, past a huge waterfall from a rock, and finally enjoy a contour trail on a rock with views of the entire dam and the mountains beyond.
Bisse du Torrent Neuf is a picturesque Swiss canal path with clear mountain water that will take you through the magical Alpine region.
The Tseuzier Dam is a majestic dam in the Alps, over 150 metres high, which not only protects the valley from flooding but also provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain peaks and lakes.

After yesterday's mountains, today we are going to have a bit of that seaside and French atmosphere. Do you love music? And do you love rock music? I hope you do, because today we're going to Montreux, which is dedicated to music. It's where the members of Queen lived and, more importantly, recorded albums for several years. We're going straight into their studio! I'll also show you the house where Freddie Mercury lived out the last years of his life, and we'll visit his bronze statue on the shores of Lake Geneva.

But Motreux is not just the Queen's, it is a beautiful town in its own right, with a seaside atmosphere, floral promenades and a crystal clear lake from which the peaks of the French Alps rise. Did you know we'll also see Mount Evian, where the water of the same name originates? :)
Secondly, we will visit the city of Lausanne. It is the only city in Switzerland that can boast a metro - they even have two lines and both are automated - there is no driver. We will of course explore the city, there will be space for personal leisure, souvenir shopping or just relaxing in one of the parks with lots of flowers. If it's warm, we can jump into the clear water of the lake and have an alpine swim!

Lausanne is a lively university city on the shores of Lake Geneva, with a sophisticated atmosphere and historic sights.
Breakfast: pancakes with a selection of spreads and whipped cream (marmalade, chocolate, caramel)
Dinner:Rösti with cheese (the most typical Swiss dish, it is a potato pancake that can be further modified with different ingredients)
How close were you to the glacier? Have you never, because you don't have the equipment or experience for demanding glacier hikes, you know the axe from the picture and it must be challenging after all? Not at all!
Today we are going to a glacier! We'll drive most of the way and walk the last two kilometres on an easy trail right up to the glacier itself. In a few moments we find ourselves in a completely different landscape. The grass disappears and the glacier appears. :) You will be able to touch it, hear the ice crackle, see it melt right before your eyes.
After returning from the glacier we will stop in the city of Zion. We will of course explore the city, but most importantly we will visit the Basilique de Valère, home to the second oldest organ in the world. Pope John Paul II visited this place and was so impressed by the church that he consecrated it as a basilica.
Glacier Du Moiry is a stunning glacier in the Alps that draws everyone who approaches it into its mysterious world with its blue reflections and powerful ice streams.
Sion is a picturesque Swiss town with a rich history, captivating with its medieval monuments and views of the Rhine Valley.

Dinner: Beef smashburger "Swiss" style - with Raclette cheese, caramelized onions and bacon, baked potatoes in the skin
Today we'll forget about our car (not completely, it will take us to the train station in Martigny) and try Swiss public transport! In the morning we will start with the train. From "our" town of Martigny we will head to Visp where we will change to another train that will take us through an "alpine" tunnel to the central Swiss town of Spiez. As Switzerland is not only a country of mountains but also of lakes, we will change in Spiez to a boat and sail on Lake Thun to the town of Interlaken. And from Interlaken we will take a train ride to the valley of waterfalls and perhaps Switzerland's most famous Instagram village, Lauterbrunnen.
Of course, I'll take you to a place from which you can't miss a photo for your "insta". But we'll climb up the rock behind that huge waterfall you know from instagram too. Did you know you can go behind it? :)
But our journey doesn't end here. We will take a cable car and another train to the village of Mürren, from where you can get a beautiful view of Switzerland's most famous four-thousanders, the Eiger, Jungfrau and Monch. Those who are interested will be able to take the cable car up to the top of the Schilthorn, where the famous revolving restaurant Piz Gloria, which you know from James Bond - In Her Majesty's Service, is located.
After today's adventure, it's just a train ride to Martigny and from there to our accommodation.

And it's here! Today we will finally see the symbol of Switzerland - the Matterhorn. We will drive to the village of Täsch, where we will leave our car in the huge garages and change to the train that will take us to Zermatt. And do you know why we have to take the train? Because all cars are banned in Zermatt (except for local electric buses).
After a short ride we find ourselves in the centre of Zermatt. Do you expect to see the Matterhorn right at this moment? Unfortunately, I will have to disappoint you and we will have to walk almost the whole of Zermatt to get a view. We'll enjoy the view for a while (from the great benches) and then we'll arrange our program for the day on the spot.

Today, unfortunately, we have to go home. But even on the way home we will see the most beautiful places from Switzerland - to say goodbye with grace! As we are making the journey home on a weekday, there will also be an opportunity to buy all those Swiss goodies to take home with us. We have a fridge in the car so you can take the cheese department by storm! And don't forget the delicious Wallisian wine! But enough shopping. So which way are we going home?
Over the Alps! We will start with the Furkapass mountain pass (2429m/n/m) and continue to the Klausenpass (1948m/n/m), which I personally consider the most beautiful road in the world. Just before we descend into the valley we will stop to look at the hidden Berglistüber waterfall, which you can enter behind.
And then we'll take the motorway all the way to Prague! Of course we have food stops planned! Our favourite is the McDonalds in Bregenz! :-)

Today we'll forget about our car (not completely, it will take us to the train station in Martigny) and try Swiss public transport! In the morning we will start with the train. From "our" town of Martigny we will head to Visp where we will change to another train that will take us through an "alpine" tunnel to the central Swiss town of Spiez. As Switzerland is not only a country of mountains but also of lakes, we will change in Spiez to a boat and sail on Lake Thun to the town of Interlaken. And from Interlaken we will take a train ride to the valley of waterfalls and perhaps Switzerland's most famous Instagram village, Lauterbrunnen.
Of course, I'll take you to a place from which you can't miss a photo for your "insta". But we'll climb up the rock behind that huge waterfall you know from instagram too. Did you know you can go behind it? :)
But our journey doesn't end here. We will take a cable car and another train to the village of Mürren, from where you can get a beautiful view of Switzerland's most famous four-thousanders, the Eiger, Jungfrau and Monch. Those who are interested will be able to take the cable car up to the top of the Schilthorn, where the famous revolving restaurant Piz Gloria, which you know from James Bond - In Her Majesty's Service, is located.
After today's adventure, it's just a train ride to Martigny and from there to our accommodation.

And it's here! Today we will finally see the symbol of Switzerland - the Matterhorn. We will drive to the village of Täsch, where we will leave our car in the huge garages and change to the train that will take us to Zermatt. And do you know why we have to take the train? Because all cars are banned in Zermatt (except for local electric buses).
After a short ride we find ourselves in the centre of Zermatt. Do you expect to see the Matterhorn right at this moment? Unfortunately, I will have to disappoint you and we will have to walk almost the whole of Zermatt to get a view. We'll enjoy the view for a while (from the great benches) and then we'll arrange our program for the day on the spot.

Today, unfortunately, we have to go home. But even on the way home we will see the most beautiful places from Switzerland - to say goodbye with grace! As we are making the journey home on a weekday, there will also be an opportunity to buy all those Swiss goodies to take home with us. We have a fridge in the car so you can take the cheese department by storm! And don't forget the delicious Wallisian wine! But enough shopping. So which way are we going home?
Over the Alps! We will start with the Furkapass mountain pass (2429m/n/m) and continue to the Klausenpass (1948m/n/m), which I personally consider the most beautiful road in the world. Just before we descend into the valley we will stop to look at the hidden Berglistüber waterfall, which you can enter behind.
And then we'll take the motorway all the way to Prague! Of course we have food stops planned! Our favourite is the McDonalds in Bregenz! :-)

In the early hours of the morning, we get into our beautiful partner for the following week - a 6-seater Mercedes Benz Vito, which is perfectly adapted for long journeys and set off for Switzerland.
Just outside the Swiss border, we'll find our first major site worth seeing. Europe's largest waterfalls - the Rheinefall in Schaffhausen. We will take a break here for about two hours to enjoy the power of the water and recharge our batteries for the rest of the trip.
After about 4 hours we arrive at our accommodation in a beautiful traditional Swiss chalet. :)
We leave Prague around 5:00 in the morning. If you live in Prague, we will be happy to pick you up directly at your home. :)
The Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen are a wonderful place to relax and admire the natural beauty that literally overwhelms you with its power and energy.
We will be staying in a traditional Swiss chalet in the village of Breuson (where, among other things, the world-famous Raclette cheese is made). In the chalet you will have two bedrooms with two double beds, or there is another room with a sofa bed and TV. :) There will be a bathroom with a bathtub. On the ground floor of the chalet there is a living area with a kitchen, where we will meet every morning and evening to enjoy breakfast and dinner in a purely Swiss spirit. :) For each day you will always find listed what is planned for that day's meal. :-) You can also expect packed lunches/sandwiches for the lunches we will most often spend on our travels around the country!
Breakfast: packages for the journey, or idividual stops at snack bars along the way (McDonalds)
Dinners: "Kalte Platte" or cold platter. This way you can taste the best Swiss cheeses and cold cuts with Swiss pastries as soon as you arrive, and of course a vegetable salad.
There will always be plenty of food "to nibble on" at the accommodation. Fruit, crisps, biscuits and similar snacks will be available, as will lemonades, juices and of course tap water, which is the quality of mountain springs. :)
After breakfast, we will have a beautiful but at the same time absolutely easy walk along the Bisse du Torrent irrigation canal. The specialty of this trail is the less than 10 suspension bridges of various lengths and, of course, the unforgettable panoramas. The entire trail is less than two kilometres long and follows a contour line. This will leave you with plenty of energy to enjoy the true Swiss (Wallisian) nature.
In the afternoon, we will visit another beautiful place with a bit of a Canadian vibe, the Tseuzier Dam. There is an easy trail around the whole dam. We'll walk along a wide path for a while and hear cows grazing, then cross a tiny suspension bridge, which from a certain angle can look like it's high above the dam, pass through a beautiful little forest, past a huge waterfall from a rock, and finally enjoy a contour trail on a rock with views of the entire dam and the mountains beyond.
Bisse du Torrent Neuf is a picturesque Swiss canal path with clear mountain water that will take you through the magical Alpine region.
The Tseuzier Dam is a majestic dam in the Alps, over 150 metres high, which not only protects the valley from flooding but also provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain peaks and lakes.

After yesterday's mountains, today we are going to have a bit of that seaside and French atmosphere. Do you love music? And do you love rock music? I hope you do, because today we're going to Montreux, which is dedicated to music. It's where the members of Queen lived and, more importantly, recorded albums for several years. We're going straight into their studio! I'll also show you the house where Freddie Mercury lived out the last years of his life, and we'll visit his bronze statue on the shores of Lake Geneva.

But Motreux is not just the Queen's, it is a beautiful town in its own right, with a seaside atmosphere, floral promenades and a crystal clear lake from which the peaks of the French Alps rise. Did you know we'll also see Mount Evian, where the water of the same name originates? :)
Secondly, we will visit the city of Lausanne. It is the only city in Switzerland that can boast a metro - they even have two lines and both are automated - there is no driver. We will of course explore the city, there will be space for personal leisure, souvenir shopping or just relaxing in one of the parks with lots of flowers. If it's warm, we can jump into the clear water of the lake and have an alpine swim!

How close were you to the glacier? Have you never, because you don't have the equipment or experience for demanding glacier hikes, you know the axe from the picture and it must be challenging after all? Not at all!
Today we are going to a glacier! We'll drive most of the way and walk the last two kilometres on an easy trail right up to the glacier itself. In a few moments we find ourselves in a completely different landscape.
