There is a bus stop right in front of the airport (to Las Palmas approx. 2,70€). I arrived quite late and still had a long time to find how to get the bus to the hotel, becausethe transport ja island is quite confusing, so I didn't catch much in the evening anymore. 


What about the food? No... Overall pretty traditional restaurants, but quite expensive. Traditional food is great, but I really like Spanish Burger King because compared to Czech food it's TOP. In supermarkets the food is not so expensive and is of good quality.


Quite clean...

But, the aisles off the main avenue were dirty and smelly. Lots of homeless people and dogs, but otherwise not bad. The sea was clean

Sand sculptures. They are free and right by the main promenade. It's not something you have to see at any price, but for free it's nice and nicely done.

I went to the cave from the Llano Alegre stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes (2.5km). You can see the sea all the way up and can see Las Palmas along the way

It's definitely worth the 13€. Every hour they have an event (dolphins, birds, etc). You'll get through it in a couple of hours and I recommend combining it with a trip to the dunes.

Reserva Natural Especial de Las Dunas de Maspalomas

For me it is the most beautiful place in Gran Canaria, but you must not follow their paths. It says to follow the route, but you're walking on the rocks and not on the dunes at all, so you have to climb the rope and go straight to the sea over the dunes.

You have to go through the old centre of Gran Canaria! It's not the prettiest city I've seen, but it's also full of sights. Las Palmas is quite a big city, so you have to take the bus there too, but you can get everywhere.

The price was about 500 CZK/person. but it was worth it. Huge aquarium with lots of aquariums. You get a map of the aquarium and you have to follow it because there is only one way to go anyway. They have it nicely divided up and nicely/cleanly done.

It's definitely worth the 13€. Every hour they have an event (dolphins, birds, etc). You'll get through it in a couple of hours and I recommend combining it with a trip to the dunes.

Reserva Natural Especial de Las Dunas de Maspalomas

For me it is the most beautiful place in Gran Canaria, but you must not follow their paths. It says to follow the route, but you're walking on the rocks and not on the dunes at all, so you have to climb the rope and go straight to the sea over the dunes.

Catedral Metropolitana de Santa Ana de Canarias

You have to go through the old centre of Gran Canaria! It's not the prettiest city I've seen, but it's also full of sights. Las Palmas is quite a big city, so you have to take the bus there too, but you can get everywhere.

The price was about 500 CZK/person. but it was worth it. Huge aquarium with lots of aquariums. You get a map of the aquarium and you have to follow it because there is only one way to go anyway. They have it nicely divided up and nicely/cleanly done.

Physical difficulty: Easy

There is a bus stop right in front of the airport (to Las Palmas approx. 2,70€). I arrived quite late and still had a long time to find how to get the bus to the hotel, becausethe transport ja island is quite confusing, so I didn't catch much in the evening anymore. 


What about the food? No... Overall pretty traditional restaurants, but quite expensive. Traditional food is great, but I really like Spanish Burger King because compared to Czech food it's TOP. In supermarkets the food is not so expensive and is of good quality.


Quite clean...

But, the aisles off the main avenue were dirty and smelly. Lots of homeless people and dogs, but otherwise not bad. The sea was clean
