Muelle Uno is the harbour promenade, also lined with restaurants and bars, or the eponymous shopping centre with more than 80 shops. Caminito del Rey is a hiking trail that runs along the cliff tops, through ravines and valleys that are lined with forests. The entire trail is 300 metres long and goes gently downhill, taking about 3.5 hours to complete.

You'll arrive at Malaga Train Station, from here take the train to Estación de tren El Chorro. The train journey takes about 50 minutes. You get off here, and the trail should be approximately 20 minutes on foot.

Caminito del Rey is a hiking trail that runs along the cliff tops, through ravines and valleys that are lined with forests. The entire trail is 300 metres long and goes gently downhill, taking about 3.5 hours to complete.

You'll arrive at Malaga Train Station, from here take the train to Estación de tren El Chorro. The train journey takes about 50 minutes. You get off here, and the trail should be approximately 20 minutes on foot.

The tour of the roof is only via a narrow spiral staircase with 200 steps and is always organized in groups. Once on the roof, you will have an unforgettable view of Malaga.

Playa de la Malagueta is the largest and most beautiful sandy beach, 2 km long, lined with restaurants and bars and boasting free access to the sea. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented for €15/day, and there is live music.

On the beach, I would be wary of the classic "vendors" offering to give you a free blanket, in the end this is capable of costing you 2x more than if you rented a sunbed.

Muelle Uno

Muelle Uno is the harbour promenade, also lined with restaurants and bars, or the eponymous shopping centre with more than 80 shops. There is also the possibility to take a sightseeing boat ride to watch the sunset, and you can also admire the parked yachts. The largest of these, however, is a superyacht called Dynasty, which has been here since 2011.

Jardín Botánico - Histórico La Concepción

Jardín Botánico is a botanical garden on the northern outskirts of the city. It specializes in growing subtropical and tropical plants and trees, all in the old English style.

Walk to Atarazanas, where you'll take the number 2 bus towards San Jose. Get off here, it should only be a 10 min walk from the bus stop.

The garden is open all year round every day from 9:30am. In summer it closes at 8:30pm, during winter it closes at 5:30pm.

Caminito del Rey. Acceso sur (Álora)

Caminito del Rey is a hiking trail that runs along the cliff tops, through ravines and valleys that are lined with forests. The entire trail is 300 metres long and goes gently downhill, taking about 3.5 hours to complete.

You'll arrive at Malaga Train Station, from here take the train to Estación de tren El Chorro. The train journey takes about 50 minutes. You get off here, and the trail should be approximately 20 minutes on foot.

Plaza de la Merced

Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport

Be sure to be at the airport 2 hours in advance. The journey to the airport is the same as the journey from the airport. :)

On the way back, we will use bus line A again, and get off at Malaga airport.
