Buon giorno - new day, new experiences! A stay in Tuscany would not be complete without a visit to Florence. You'll do best to start your self-guided tour at the Duomo di Firenze, one of the city's most famous landmarks. And rightly so - the cathedral is breathtaking from both the outside and the inside! What you shouldn't miss while walking around Florence is a stop at arguably the most famous bridge in Italy. The Ponte Vecchio is one of the oldest stone bridges in Europe, and with its many little shops on and around the bridge, it offers the perfect photographic motif. What's next? Mangiare! Whether pasta, pizza or other local delicacies (optional, pay on the spot) - Florence is not called a foodie paradise for nothing.

Even Siena is nearby. This medieval town is considered one of the most beautiful in Italy and is definitely worth a visit - you can feel the Tuscan atmosphere around every corner! Afterwards, you will head to the "medieval Manhattan" of San Gimignano. The nickname is due to the 15 surviving family towers, which in the Middle Ages rival families built ever taller to outdo each other.
